AMVR Touch Controller Grip Anti-Throw Strap Accessories for Meta Quest 2

My kids play VR more often than I'd like to admit, sometimes they get carried away, so much so that before buying these my daughter threw a controller across the room. My son suggested these and they both love using them.

Works great a lot easier to change batteries. Straps are comfortable and do not change the angle of controller when used like some do.Don't try to put wrong battery cover on wrong controller. Will not fit. My Bad.

These were great for a long time I eventually ended up upgrading to some different grips but these worked amazing for the time I had them

The leather straps are far more secure than the rubberized elastic straps of the previous model and the grip feels far more natural. One of the issues I had with the previous grips is that they felt like my hand was always riding a bit too high on the controller, no matter how I adjusted them. These feel just right. The straps themselves are durable and I expect them to last much longer than the previous rubberized elastic straps. Finally, the biggest pain point of the previous grips was battery changing. This is now completely solved.Bottom line - These are the grips you want. If you're new to Quest 2, put them at the top of your accessory list. If you have the older grips, get them, you won't be sorry.

I had heard some good impressions of this style of hand strap, and went with these (AMVR grip) because they were well reviewed, inexpensive, and slim with no weird hanging bits or parts that sit too close to the buttons and inputs.People offered that this style of hand strap would let you feel more immersion by dropping and throwing in game objects by fully releasing your hold on the controller instead of raising one finger off of a trigger. This is a fairly rare interaction, and even when I do come across it, the weight of the controller still attached to my hand doesn't convince me that anything left my hands.One experience that was great, No More Rainbows Beta (free, as of today), has simple arm locomotion controls, somewhat like the kind that Gorilla Tag popularized. When playing this game, I can release my grip and imagine myself thumping my palms against the ground to propel myself around as I please, and I still get the rumble feedback of the controllers for each surface I touch. It's really a great experience to escape the feeling of holding baton like controllers when it doesn't apply to the game world.But most games aren't controlled so simply and ask for the buttons at any moment.With the original straps, the ease of dropping the controllers so I can fully use my hands to adjust or remove the headset, pick up my phone, or even give my cat some pets is hard to beat. Hand straps like this hinder so many options I've grown accustomed to.These seem good among hand grips, namely for anyone with smaller than very large hands, but I don't think it's necessary to have them and you can save your money.

I ordered this product again because they are extremely well made. I had the first set for over a year. Finally one of the clips on the black strap broke off. But overall happy with the product. I use and abuse the handles so I was happy to reordered.

D0UG- from echo arena here... This knuckle strap is hands down the best imho. It handles every issue I've had with every other strap... Broken eyelets .. broken bands ... Velcro wear down, small knuckle strap, poor strap location on back of hand, battery replacemt and most importantly longevity... Which all the afore mentioned issues run into. The placement is perfect and the concept and execution and materials of the door rreplacemt are perfect stress on the band is removed nothing is on the halo causing a wonky feel it lays exactly right... And when. You see the band you'll instantly smile knowing you can pick up bags of them at many shopping locations around in the woman hair dept .. it has enough play so you don't have to strap and restrap the band causing Velcro to break down . They really are the best for echo arena at least i mean i don't know any other games lmao ... But for real Echo destroys straps these will last until the #punapples hit master level lol. Its gonna take something to get me to even think of using anything else ... But these for sure ... I'll have way more content now bounces and 19s for days cuz the controllers are always exactly right so i can throw throw throw

Would be a 5-star product if they didn't break so easily. The really need reinforcment in this area. We're on our 3rd pair and they fail in the same spot every time.
