Awesome solution to my problem
Got the buckle today and put it on my helmet strap. It was a little tricky getting it on the strap, but that just means that i will never have to worry about it ever coming off unless I want to take it off, and that's not likely. I do have to say that I am very pleased with this quick release buckle. I had 2 plastic ones prior to this, that broke. This is metal, and I'm not going to have to worry about it breaking. I was a little put off with it at first, before I ordered it, because of the price. I just felt it was a little steep. But, after getting it and seeing the quality, if I ever have a need for another helmet, I will not hesitate to buy another one.

So easy to use!
Snaps broke off my helmet. GET THIS PRODUCT! Installation can be a bit of a pain, especially when you get the beanie/half helmet one for a full face/modular helmet. I ordered the wrong one, but it worked just as easily. The fit took a little more prying than I think the properly sized one would, but I was able to get it fitted, and I feel even more secure with the quick release. Highly recommend!!!

Not the easiest helmet buckle I've installed, and not the easiest to use, but once it's on it works fine.

A lot stronger than the plastic one I own. The strong , solid clip sound it makes when attaching sounds quality. Well worth the money. Easy to clip and unclip with gloves on. Love it.

Great Product
This is the only helmet strap fastener you want for your helmet. Very strong and secure. Lightweight and easy to clasp together and undo. Firm hold, not flimsy and weak like those cheap plastic ones. I have purchased several of these and they are fantastic.

Worth investing the time to install the strap
I will not sugar quote, its difficult to install the strap to my shoie helmet, but it is worth the punishment. Go for it. You will be frustrated, so i gave up and gave it to my wife and she did it in 5 mins.

Bernie buckle on dirt bike helmet
Works great on my Troy Lee SE4 dirt bike helmet, much easier to remove helmet after long day of trail riding. Going to put one on my enduro MTB helmet as well; they say it’s not recommended for bicycles, but if it’s good enough for my DOT motorcycle helmet it will be just fine.
