The stick balm has been great for our dog. He ended up with a large crack in his nose and the balm has been a game changer for him. I love that it is all natural, but doesn't have an overwhelming smell. The size is great adn it is easy to apply, since it's like a large chapstick (our dog is 105 pounds). It seems to prodive immediate relief and a softened touch to his nose once applied. We have repurchased this over time about three times now and will continue to purchase again. The only downside to the large stick is that it doesn't turn like a normal chapstick, but turns up by the balm, so you will get balm on your hands and need to wash it off, however that is very minor.

My dog started to suffer with a dry nose from lupus and this has been a life saver! I purchased the tin first and then purchased the tube. I usually put about 1/4 in back in the tin from the tube; found this is easier to get a coating on my finger for application but then tin is great for using and it fits in a pocket so you can sneak extra on the nose. My dog loves sitting in the sun and being that we're in Phoenix, this has protected her nose from sun and she has a fan blowing on her at night (spoiled much?), this protects from the breeze. There's no scent and it helped heal a wound on my finger that I use to rub on her nose (win win situation). I am using no other products on her nose and no prescriptions (she does get a turmeric supplement and omega oil in her food) so I'm am 100% convinced this has helped heal her nose.

My dog has had really bad hyperkeratosis for a while now. I bought this 2 weeks ago and applied it as soon as it arrived. The smell is strong but pleasant, and doesn't seem to bother him. It applies super easy, you can use the stick right on the nose or rub some on a finger, as the formula is very soft. Definitely distract your dog while applying!! LOL, mine tried to lick/wipe it off. I applied it 2-3 times daily as directed. If your dog doesn't lick it off like mine does most of the time, it soaks into their snout and lasts quite long throughout the day. This 100% works as intended! Within the first few days I noticed the dry scaly patches on his nose getting smaller and smaller. Some of them even came off on my finger as I rubbed the balm in! Two weeks later & his nose is back to normal. I'm so happy my old man's lil nose is healthy again <3

If used regularly it works well to help with your pups dry nose issue. Have purchased a few times now and will continue to use . Also like the fact its non toxic and the pup seems to like the taste. Licking tube helps to calm her while applying to nose and makes it easier.

Would recommend this stuff to anyone for their fur babies! My girl is 12 years old and suffers from a really dry nose to the point of awful cracking. This stuff works wonders overnight. I put it on her nose and while she will lick it she pretty much massages it into the cracks herself and the affects are almost instant. Truly such a great product and will continue to buy as long as she needs it

We discovered this nose balm over 10 years ago when our 14-year-old cattle dog developed a dry cracked nose. She lived another 2-1/2 years, and we applied it to her nose every night right before we fed her dinner so she was busy eating and the balm had some time to soak in. It was a huge relief for her, so fast-forward to 2026, when our next cattle dog turned 13-1/2 with a dry nose, we didn't hesitate to order Snout Soother again. In 2014, we ordered it in the little tin and applied it by fingertip, but this time we ordered the stick applicator. Both versions work well, and both provide almost immediate relief. We were very pleased to discover they're still making it, and that it's still an effective topical treatment. Highly recommended at our house.

I got this for our black male pug that's developed hyperkeratosis crust on his nose. I've been using it for just five days and can tell a big difference already. His nose is already much smoother and softer even though he goes a little wild licking and trying to rub it off after it's applied. The ridge of build up has already lessened a lot. I'm very pleasantly surprised and looking forward to seeing how much more he improves with continued use. Definitely recommend!

Mein Boxer litt immer wieder an extrem trockener, sich auflösender Nase. Ich hielt es für eine Alterserscheinung, bis mein Frenchie mit gerade 1 Jahr auch damit anfing, so bin ich auf dieses Produkt gestoßen und bin restlos begeistert! Man braucht unglaublich wenig von dem wachsartigen Produkt für die kleine Nase und es hält wochenlang an! Wirklich ein Wundermittel! Ich habe mittlerweile auch das Pfoten- und das Faltenbalsam der Marke für meinen Frenchie gekauft, er findet es klasse!

Unsere Bulldogge hat oft Probleme mit einer sehr trockenen Nase. Das Produkt wird einmal aufgetragen und schon ist die Haut an der Nase wieder schön geschmeidig. Ich kann es wirklich empfehlen. Wir nutzen den Stick schon seid Jahren.
