Can this bulb be used in a three way lamp?

I haven't tried that, but I assume it does. I have other smart bulbs in my house, and I don't always use Alexa to turn them on/off, so I don't see why they wouldn't.

Does this work with the Alexa kids?

Yes it can but the parent has to enable that feature in the app which allows kids access to smart home devices.

Will this work in ceiling light?

It Works in any Screen-in lamp so it should work in a ceiling lamp. The only thing you must realize is that you must have the ceiling lamp switch always on, otherwise there is no power to the bulb so it cannot be controlled or turn itself on.

Do these lights give off a yellow glow? I want a white light.

I have a few of the Sengled Smart Light Bulbs: Soft White, Multicolor, and Daylight. No yellow glow with the Daylight bulbs. You could also go with the Multicolor bulb and ask Alexa, or go through the Sengled app, to change the Multicolor bulb to Daylight too and there is no yellow glow on that setting either.

Works but was a little finicky

I had an easy time connecting to the app and getting the bulbs to work. I keep getting an error EVERY time I try to connect these bulbs to Alexa. They will not connects. Bluetooth bulbs will though.Update. Got it connected. Don’t know what changed but it works with my Alexa. These bulbs are finicky, but they work well.

Requires 2.4ghz wifi set to at least g+n

I'm sure with Smart devices there's a lot of chance for misconfiguration of network design, and I had trouble getting these to work at first. They REQUIRE 2.4ghz wifi, and I have a TP-Link router running dd-wrt, with my 2.4ghz set to "N-Only". They just wouldn't finish the connection during the process and tell you to reset and retry.I switched my 2.4ghz wifi to do G+N protocols and then ran the setup process again and they all connected fine.So yeah, make sure you've got a 2.4ghz wifi network on your router and don't limit it to N-only, and you might have better luck.
