PortaTrough 5 is long enough to enable rapid feeding of sheep and goats yet short enough that they can easily be carried by hand or ATV. Feeds about 8 adult sheep in full fleece (3 along each side and 1 on each end.) or 10 adult goats. Can be used to feed or water sheep, goats, livestock protection dogs, ducks, geese and poultry. For grain, salt, mineral or water. High sides prevent feed from being knocked out and wasted. Can be set right on the ground in all weather conditions. Difficult for sheep and goats to tip over. Stack inside of each other for easy movement and storage. Easy to stack and carry on ATV's or farm vehicles. Side handle allows it to be inverted with a toe to tip out water or ice. Won't break if water freezes in it, as the rounded inner trough allows ice to expand upward as it freezes. Base is approximately 61" long x 12.5 " wide and depth is 6.25". Made of heavy duty polyethylene.
