Perfect idea, which I came up with as a cheaper alternative to custom-mount plates for my all black on white wheels trailer custom project. Man, it looks nice and different. The trailer originally had a spot to the left just below the tail-light where the plate mount was placed. However, this was way too low as when my trailer is placed in DUMP mode o dump load such as junk or gravel, the plates hit the ground violently and distorted and almost broke. I then came up with the idea to use TV/flat screen mounts, but these would be over-doing it for plates that weigh a few ounces. I was going to use a reciprocating/rotating mount such as this one, but for a TV/flat screen to custom mount plates in the rear arch so that when the arch is down so as to extend the trailer (trailer is highly customizable and can extend both arches from a meer 6.5ft trailer to a whopping 12.5ft trailer bed), I can fkip the plates to face back (plates would face down) and when the arch is closed, I can still flip the plates 45 degrees back to face back if you know what I mean.Sorry for the run-on, but I'm in a rush... so, I ended-up mounting the plates just above the left tail-light, clear from ever hitting the ground, and even more visible than the factory spot, using this still sturdy, but cheaper and more appropriate, and of course in BLACK, metal CCTV cam mount, which turned-out beautifully that you would think that the trailer came like that, just as with all the other accessories, which I mentioned on my other reviews in this long, but fun custom trailer project.

Adjustable and easy to mount the camera and to the wall.

I included a picture with this review to show what came in the package. One bracket as pictured by Amazon and two quarter-inch screws, not four screws as advertised. These two quarter-inch screws are useless. I installed the bracket with four one-inch screws of my own. I mention this because it’s a nuisance; and also because the same useless screws were shipped with a different camera bracket that I purchased on Amazon.

The mount could not hold a 13lb camera. It started twisting and bouncing.. the camera almost flipped over.. In the description it said rated for 22lbs.

Holds a lightweight camera but not as thick as I thought it would be.

Used to mount security cameras. Very lightweight but did the job. Installed night owl cameras and have had no problems. Would recommend.
