It was a little difficult to put on but definitely worth it. They include a QR code to scan with instructions to follow that help a lot. There are a couple places I messed up on but they aren’t too obvious. All in all I’m definitely happy with the results. The caps on my buttons and joy stick didn’t come with it but they definitely look super cute with it!! If I ever want another I’ll give them another try. It’s even harder to spot the mistakes when I have my grip on it.

I understand that the point of this is to cover as much of the original as possible but come on, I’d take showing some of the consol underneath for a seamless, no bubbling finish. It’s a super cute design and I wanted to love this but it just seems they copied some template and thought that’d be enough? Like this application is so ugly I’m so disappointed.

The skin feels glossy and really nice. I was able to pull off problem areas and reapply it as long as I was gentle. There are some areas that are a bit rough but I 100% believe that’s user error. I think people who have more experience applying decals or skins to their systems can do it way better than I did. I will also say in the instruction video it didn’t say to have tweezers, but I highly recommend getting the sharp pointed end tweezers. They helped me out a ton when doing the really tight spaces or really tiny areas. My only critique I think I have would be when doing the screen I messed it up. And for the most part, I fixed it but still on the top part it doesn’t really align with the LED display. It’s not egregious and that’s why I’m still giving five stars. I’m just putting this in for anyone else who’s buying this to just watch out for that area! Also, the reason I went with this decal over others was because of the case I wanted to get for it. It was cute enough that if the case didn’t fit, I could still use it. I will include pictures of the case over the skin, it’s a tight fit, and it barely fits, but it works still. Also to get the decal around the movement sticks I cut it where it would be on the bottom under side of the stick and on the side that has an image I lined it up before I placed it down. On the other side, since its just pink, you don’t have to worry too much about aligning it to an image. You just need to make sure you cover the blue. I hope this was informative!

I ended up with some minor bumps, largely around the corners. Using the hairdryer and applying pressure got rid of most of the issues. Overall, it looks pretty good. I added button covers that another reviewer recommended.

It’s such a pretty design but after carefully putting on console finding it doesn’t fit properly.

I was debating on whether or not to pay the extra money for these decals, but it is definitely worth it! The stickers are printed on 3M vinyl and the sizing is perfect! Take your time putting them on and the end result will be something to be proud of.
