The equipment, process, and installation is relatively simple and the purchase included a spare glass tube and lamp to provide future maintenance needs. I expect it will last for years.I installed it to address a coliform bacteria issue identified by routine testing of my cabin water well.

Worked great for 3 years then the internal seal(s) failed causing the light to be launched from the unit and flood the basement.

Inlet size was 1 inch compared to 3/4 advertised. It required a little more on installation. One of the ballasts were bad, but the company is sending a replacement. I won't know if it works as it should until i get water tested.
