Beautiful Chanter, Some Flaws
Positive: very nicely constructed, attractive chanter, holes are well countersunk. Issues: the two supplied reeds did not work in the chanter - lots of uncontrollable squeaks despite re-positioning and trying different blowing techniques; got to work using one of my other chanter reeds. Scale tuning is OK except for high A - very sharp; can be adjusted

For the price a value. Does not come with instructions, just a paper listing Web sites.

Beautiful wood workmanship but difficult to play
Compared to other chanters I have played, I found this one more difficult to play because it requires more force to blow air through it. It is a beautiful piece of workmanship, but because it is so hard to play, I am dissapointed with this purchase.
