I was hoping for a lovely fragrance with this slightly more expensive body butter, but there just isn't any smell at all, seems like a cheaper brand for the money, so not for me, won't buy again

I've never heard of this before but I love it....it's a good product and I love the scent

This Di Palomo Body Butter will appeal especially to those who love a bit of luxury in every sense-fragrance, texture and packaging. Firstly it comes in a very attractive and tasteful blue gift box making it a perfect present. Secondly you have a rich scent which combines a touch of sweetness from honey with a sharper edge of olive. Then there is the texture of the product which is thick and coats the skin in an indulgent way. It is also nice to see that a product like this is produced cruelty free.In terms of its efficacy, it works well although given the thickness of the butter, I found it does need a little work to absorb into the skin and consequently it works best on patches of particular dryness such as elbows, knees or hands. Fortunately it leaves no sticky residue and given you have ingrdients like avocado oil and shea butter it does reduce the tightness of dry skin as well as hydrating it. Certainly a lovely product to use after bath or shower which leaves you feeling a bit special-something we all need from time to time.

This body butter is so far doing a great job of keeping my body moisturised. I also like its scent.When the central heating is on, my skin can get very dry - to the point of having itchy legs and arms that can sometimes get a bit red. Not all moisturisers provide enough moisture to keep my skin moisturised, but this body butter definitely has enough of the oils and other ingredients to keep my skin in good shape.The body butter goes on easily. It is a little bit firmer in texture than other body butters that I have used - it is stiffer and retains its shape when I scoop it out. But spreading it between my two hands easily helps it to melt into a rich butter that I can then smooth onto my legs, stomach and arms.I like the fragrance. Scent is of course very personal. But I like it. It is pleasantly scented without being overpowering.The packaging feels a little more homemade than some of the big brands. That isn't necessarily a bad thing - it feels as if Di Palomo is a small producer with a recipe that is perhaps a little more special rather than mass market. The pot is plastic and comes with a layer of tissue inside the cardboard box.Overall, this is a good body butter that I'm enjoying using. It feels good on my skin and smells quite delicious - I almost want to try eating it!
