I had to do it slightly differently but they are great regardless. Basically just like many drawers, a big one we had had the floor falling out due to bending / load. The problem is the edges of the 'floor' board were also weak and damaged so whilst the idea was great to use those braces in order to push them back and secure, they just ended up popping out on the edges. What I have done - and it works great - is drill holes through the floor and used the screws that came with this set, to secure the board onto the braces. So basically Screw > Floor > Brace > Nut this thing is so stable now that puts the (still) undamaged drawers into shame ... In fact, I will order five more sets and strengthen the remaining ones.

Our bottom desk hutch drawer was sagging. Finally got this repair kit. Installing it was a breeze except I had to shave off about 5mm from the upward metal that sits flush against the front and back of the drawer as its original track was sitting low. Now with the bars fastened and tightened it slides out smoothly. I did not use the butterfly screw fasteners but the simple hexes provided. Still had to trim the screws 5mm just like the metal. All in all it is a great kit to salvage a sagging drawer. I did not want to have to build the actual drawer from scratch. This solved our problem! Great kit!
