Not water proof, be careful. Always keep the pot full, when in use.
This is the second time I've purchased this sauna steam pot. Keep in mind that this machine is not waterproof; you must be careful while cleaning or filling the pot. If water gets inside through the holes, it can cause a short circuit where the parts inside the machine can cause a spark. The machine will then stop working. I had this issue 3 months after I purchased this exact same one from a different seller. Hopefully, it won't happen again, as I will be more cautious. The second time I've brought this, it stopped working due to insufficient water inside. I had to wait for a few more hours for it to start working again. So, one more thing to be cautious about is, make sure the pot is always filled up before use. Lucky for me it still works.
