Is this item durable and if so how many pounds it holds?

I think it is durable. I haven't had any concerns. I bought four of them. They are not used every day though. But are certainly comfortable enough to be. Very solid. 250-275 easy.

how long are the legs on the chair or space from the bottom of the chair to the floor, thanks?

the space from the floor to the bottom of the seat is 11" the space from the floor to the top of the seat is 17" the seat is 26" wide and 21" deep. very comfy chair.
