Are these hollow plastic or solid plastic? I would like to cut an opening in the larger ones and put a light inside.

Hollow. The big ones have tiny hole in top you could easily make bigger to put light bulbs in. The tiny ones have two holes like a bead. Thanks for the idea!

Can these skulls be used effectivley for alluminum casting?

If you are making a mold using it as the sculpture it is rigid enough

The description says 17 skulls but i only got 6. Was the description wrong?

I have reshipped the other skulls

Cute

Bought these to paint pastel colors for a door wreath I made. Painted these several years ago and they have held up very nicely in full direct heat and sunlight for a very long time

Excellent quality. Be alert to size.

These skulls are awesome! Excellent detail, good coloring, thick sturdy plastic. However, you should be alert to the measurements. The stated size of 2” is correct when measuring diagonally from chin to back of head. The width (ear to ear) is 1 1/4”. I needed them to be 2” wide. My bad. They are still really cool.

Fun Fun Fun.....just what I have been looking for.

The skulls are made of lightweight plastic and have great detail. Added bonus are the smaller ones threaded on the tie. I am using the skull which I have "steampunked" out as an addition to a doll Im making. These would be great for Halloween decor and floral. Very easy to work with!

Good for clay sculpting.

I bought this for clay sculpting purposes & not for Halloween (although it would be good for that as well). I need a realistic skull structure to make my finished clay sculpture more accurate & symmetry. The two sizes of the included skulls (12 each of 2" & 5 each of 3/4 ") were just the right size for my projects.
