Amazing MIDI Box
The box is nice and sturdy. No flimsy plastic. Very easy to use, pretty much plug and play. Just needed to set up my synths MIDI I/O on my computer to match where I plugged them on the box ports. I have been using it for a few months without any issue. I recommend it!

No midi in, only midi out! It isn't built good at all. Mine is defective.
None of the midi in work. I used it for sending midi from computer to device and that worked but then I tried to use the midi input side and nothing.

Possibly the best budget 8 in 8 out usb midi interface out there?
When I upgraded to windows10 I had issues with the drivers for my motu express 128 midi interface. After some frustration with random driver crashes I decided to try the midiplus interface (which is around a third of the price of a new motu express 128). The midiport midiplus is fully class compliant so requires no additional driver installation. Plug it in and it just works. I'm using it to control 8 hardware synths from my DAW. I have one minor gripe. The case is compact with ins and outs on opposite sides. I would have preferred a 19" rack mountable with all ports on the back. But its working reliably and that makes me happy!

Pretty good midi box for basic 8x8 in/out
Took a chance on this unit as i was having problems with my motu express 128 not working with win10. Anyway the midiplus was detected immediately by win10 and setup automatically no BSing around. I use Bitwig and everything just worked with the midiplus unit. As a bonus i tested the midi clock out of the midiplus to see how much deviation there is and it was solid from 100-200BPM (didn't check higher bpm), meaning no deviation in the bpm when sending midi clock to a device (unlike my motu unit which has up to a 4 bpm midi clock drift). This unit is equivalent to a half rack mount unit in size altho this can't be racked. Also it was on sale when i got it making this an especially good buy when compared to other 8x8 midi boxes on the market costing well over 200$. If you don't need fancy midi routing or additional midi facilities then this unit is worth it. Too early to tell about longevity tho, hopefully it's built to last.
