How does the door anchor work? In other words, do you need to put a hook in the door to attach the anchor?

Simply slide the band through the loop of the anchor. There is a small ball at the other side of the anchor that you insert at the top, side, or bottom of a door. Make sure your door is closed securely and you're good to go!
