Can you describe the adjustment mechanism? Is it the kind with the little spring push button & drilled holes, that makes annoying clicking noises?

I bought this for a gift, but I believe it is the screw-tighten type. No, it did NOT have the springy push button in the holes. These are nice poles for the price! Won't go wrong with this purchase.
