How many do I use on a laptop? thanks!

I think at least 2 however you should ask your own inner guidance to determine how many for you.

Can you apply it on the back of the cell phone case or must it be placed directly on the phone?

hello and thank you for your question. The sticker can be applied to the phone or case for your convenience. it is 2-3mm thick, so most common way to place it is on the outside of case and on the back pf the phone or other device if you don't use a case. i hope this information if useful. let me know if you have any other questions.

How long dose it absorb emf's for?

My understanding is : indefinitely . Shungite does not absorb energy. It changes a negative energy to a positive.

Are they shungite coated or are they real stone?

A stone can be tested for it being real or not. Check You Tube to see how.
