Anna and Sarah Organic Raw Turkish Hazelnuts (Filberts) in Resealable Bag, 1 Lb

My hazelnuts were delivered quickly and are very fresh and tasty.

I love hazelnuts to bake with, as well as snack on. I was tired of buying them in the tiny packages that grocery stores offer. So I looked on Amazon. Sure enough, exactly what I wanted at a reasonable price. These came well packaged and very fresh. I do keep them in the refrig though, to ensure they don’t become rancid over time. Did you know that Filberts were prized for their oil in Europe years ago and that famous composers and musicians oiled their violins with it to preserve the wood?

I was super disappointed with this purchase. Nuts were rotten, and you cannot return them. Expensive and poor quality and NO customer service

I had been looking around for some time for hazel nuts for my cooking. Most stores just don't seem to carry them. I decided to try Anna and Sarah and I have been very pleased with their product. The nuts are fresh and taste great. The price is reasonable for shelled nuts and they are much better than the nuts in the shell I used to get. There are no empty shells, no rotten or withered nuts and you don't need to take the time and effort to shell them. In addition the order was filled very quickly making this as reliable as going to the local store (if the local store carried hazel nuts).

They are not bad but somewhat dried out and some of the flavor compared to fresh nuts in the shell, they lack in those two aspects.

When I first tried the Hazlenuts they seemed fresh, but there was no flavor! I ate more the second day same outcome, but with a couple of rank/old hazlenuts. So, I tried more the third and fourth day, now even more No flavor, and even more rank/old hazlenuts. I have been satisfied with the Brazil nuts , but I have not open the latest bag yet, and the cashews seemed fine. But, these Hazlenuts are terrible! I gave one star because zero was not an option.

After I soaked and dried them, they are so tasty! What flavor. I wish there was some assurance of non-gmo, or organically grown--but Turkey has different standards. How do we know? I gave it five stars anyway because they are hard to find and they taste so good.

Very nice product. Raw, unroasted and unsalted. I love it.
