Awesome! This is an amazing product! I'll certainly buy this again to give as a gift. This one I bought for myself. I love it! It's easy to use, saves a ton of time, and is a good value for the money. Well worth the cost! To use, place the cherry on the 6 little divots. Gently squeeze the lids together, and the pits are pushed into the tray below. Everything lines up perfectly and it's sharp enough. Definitely a thumb's up on this cherry pitter, especially for anyone with children, grandchildren, or seniors.

This is my second summer using this cherry pitter. It is so quick and convenient! I rarely write reviews, but this item is a game changer if you want to preserve cherries in any way. It cuts the time of pitting cherries by at least 75%, if not more. And it is easy to use and easy to clean. Worth every penny!

I got really tired of tearing up my nails pitting a couple pounds of cherries a week, so I bought this pitter. It works well and causes minimal mess. I will warn that it does occasionally not expell the pit from the cherry. Watch for that if you use your cherries whole. I like slicing mine in half anyway. With that in mind, this product made pitting cherries very easy and quick, just have a sturdy bowl on hand. It was also relatively easy to clean. I hope to use this product for years to come.

I’ve owned many multi cherry pitters and this one is the best by far! I love the way the pitter fits on top of bowls and cherries just drop in. I love how easy it is to see seeds when they don’t totally drop off before they drop into the bowl. I love my hands don’t get stained from pitting cherries. And I love how fast I can pit a lot of cherries without a mess. OXO has always been a brand I can trust. This cherry pitter might be more expensive then most of them here on Amazon but truly it’s worth it!

Not perfect but better than a single metal one the prongs are large enough to get all the pits out. I did 3 lbs and not one pit. Easy to clean. Then separator got stuck bit my cherries were quite large . All in all I’d recommend it.

This thing is awesome. Little tricky at first to get used to and you do have to check to make sure that the pit actually comes out. It will bypass it occasionally. But I think that's just with the bigger cherries. It's designed to sit over a small bowl which I didn't figure out until I used it several times. Technically when you push down and drive the pitters through and then pick it back up, it will automatically remove the cherries from the picture and they will drop straight down in theory into a bowl. I have pitted about 6 lb so far and it goes very quickly. Takes longer to cut the cherries in half for dehydrating than it does to pit them.

I think I had a slightly idealistic view of how much easier this would make pitting cherries. Was making a black forest ghetto and it slightly expedited the process but was still time-consuming.

have tried a few different styles and brands, and the OXO pitter is by far my pick. i wasn't convinced i would like it at first but after a couple of minutes I found it was easy to use. it's also easy to clean, there's still some - but a much more limited mess when pitting than other styles i tried, can quickly process a pile of cherries, and bonus - no sore arm or hand the next day. definitely a keeper for me
