Really helped with my perimenopause symptoms. Start slowly, half a tablet per day, gradually increase whilst monitoring for side effects. I didn't have any. I noted more moisture and reappearance of jelly like discharge around mid cycle, same like I was 20 something, really good sign.

This has changed me from PMDD symptoms of anger, irritability, rage to feeling balanced inside. I'm 44 but my oestrogen levels are high, progesterone are lower so really need this for balancing them out. It's also reduced my cortisol hormones and stress levels. I take a quarter pill daily. I've struggled with anxiety all my life but when perimenopause started a few years ago my anxiety, anger, low mood and insomnia were making me miserable. From the very first day of taking these, five days ago now, i felt that anxiety knot leave my stomach, i felt peaceful, happy, content and so much more like myself, only better. That night i slept all night like a log. I think the reason some have had anxiety or jitters etc from this is that 100 mg is a really high dose. As with anything like this, breaking your body in slowly is best. I bit the first pill into thirds for each day and the second pill, days 4 and 5, into halves. I've ready that most people do better with 30-50mg as opposed to 100mg but the pills are easy to bite in helf and great quality so you end up with 8 months supply instead of 4 if doing this.

Pregnenolone is a precursor to other hormones,as you get older these run down- in other words.......... good for your body.
