Everything you need in one kit. I needed to replace damaged screen rather than pay to have the whole thing professionally redone, and this kit made the project much more manageable than I expected. I really like that it includes not only the fiberglass mesh and spline, but the actual tools needed for installation. Having the spline roller, hook, cutter and measuring tape together meant I wasn’t halfway through the project realizing I needed to buy something else. The charcoal mesh feels durable while still allowing good visibility and airflow. The thickness was exactly the same as my original screen. There is also a generous amount of material, so this is especially useful if you have a larger screen door or multiple screens that need attention. There is a little technique involved in getting the screen evenly tensioned so I would recommend taking your time rather than pulling it extremely tight from the beginning. Once I got the hang of working the spline into the channel with the roller, the process went pretty smoothly and the finished result looked surprisingly professional. For the price point, this is a much better option than replacing an entire screen or buying all of the supplies individually. Great value for your money. Great kit to keep around if you have pets, kids, or just older screens that occasionally need replacing.

The material feels durable and well made, and the 48" x 118" size provided plenty of coverage for my window and screen door repair needs. It was easy to work with, fit nicely, and gave my damaged screens a clean, refreshed appearance. The mesh allows good airflow while keeping insects out. Overall, this is a practical, quality replacement that offers great value and made my screen repair project much easier.

I purchased this to replace our current patio door screen which had holes in it from cats and bugs chewing through the mesh. I have replaced mesh screens before, so I figured this would not be too terribly bad. I was surprised at how much more difficult it was to replace than what I have undertaken before. The nice thing is that all of the tools that you need are in this package and that is quite valuable. It does come with instructions to help, but even though we followed the instructions, it did not come together as easily as we had hoped. The information says that you can finish this in 10 minutes. Ha, it took us about 1.25 hours to get it completed. And even then, the mesh looked so loose that we didn't think it would hold up at all. However, after taking the rolling spline tool and running it around the bead, it did tighten up and worked its way into the grove finally. The mesh screen does tear very easily and that is when we found that it was tough to get it inside of the old groves of the frame. But eventually, it came together. There was a small hole int he bottom and we may have to purchase another one in the spring if this one tears during the winter months. Overall though, for what this has, I belive it is a very good option.

I have never been so eager to write a product review! I needed to replace the screen on my sunroom and was dreading it so I tried to repair the holes with a roll which had an adhesive backing. That lasted about a week and my dog and the bugs destroyed it. So I ordered this. I’ve replaced screens before and have some of the tools somewhere but it was just easier to order this kit. So well organized, with everything you need including the mesh fabric. This allowed me to replace the screen in minutes. I had been dreading doing this because typically it’s a bit fiddly to do it evenly and stretch it out properly. Turned out that I didn’t even remove the screen door frame and just replaced the screen vertically. Normally I would have removed the door and laid it flat. I highly recommend this kit. Not exaggerating when I say this was one of the easiest home repair projects I have done and I attribute it to this kit. Even the small cutter is well made. The screen mesh is a good quality and matches what was there before. I wish I had photographed the before image but here is the after. The photo of the kit is also after. The mesh came in a baggie all folded and was easy to unfold and cut to size. I simply placed the old screen mesh on top and cut about two inches extra. I ended up using the old tubing because it was in good condition and already cut to size but I will keep this kit for future screen door and window repairs.

Replaced the screen on a sliding patio door with this kit and it came out looking great. The mesh is taut, the spline held firmly in the channel on the first try, and the overall result is about as clean as a professional job. What sets this apart from just buying a roll of screen mesh is the included tool set. The dual-wheel roller (beechwood handle, metal wheels) is well built and does the heavy lifting for pressing the spline in, the hooked spline remover made pulling out the old screen fast, the utility knife handled the trim cut cleanly, and the tape measure meant I didn't have to hunt down anything extra before starting. I had everything laid out and ready to go in under a minute. The fiberglass mesh itself is an 18x16 weave, and it shows. Visibility through the screen is noticeably clear compared to the old worn mesh I replaced, airflow feels unobstructed, and it is holding insects out without issue. The mesh arrived folded, which I was initially unsure about, but the crease lines relaxed and disappeared within a day of installation, just as the product description warns. The 40-foot spline included was enough for my door frame with a bit left over. The hollow design gives it good flexibility while still providing enough grip to keep the mesh locked in. My old spline had hardened and started to shrink, so this softer, more elastic replacement was a noticeable upgrade. The whole job took about 20 to 25 minutes, and most of that was removing the old hardware. If you have a second screen or a window to do, there is enough mesh left for a smaller opening. Good value for what you get.

I’m not very handy so I was very nervous about trying to replace my screen myself. This kit had everything needed and made it so easy!!! From start to finish I was done in 15 minutes and it looks absolutely perfect!!! Excellent kit!!!

Works great. Has all the tools needed to rescreen the window. Instructions are simple. It was the perfect size for my project. Once installed following the instructions, the screens were taut and sturdy. Great value.

Item came without only 2 of the 6 accessories, was pretty useless without tools , I had to go source tools to get the job done . Material is not bad soft and can bee good. Lake of accessories was a downfall
