Bought this as a Christmas gift, my child opened up it up today. cool concept but one of the laces does not work. The one lace works great, lights up and changes color, etc. but kind of a disappointment that the other is faulty. I think I would have given it a higher rating if they both were working. They come in a small plastic bag with no packaging, so my son was a little confused on what they were at first. *** The company contacted me right away based on my first review and shipped out a replacement, they are working fine.

Stopped working first night.
The laces are great and bright at night but one stopped working the first time I used it. Changed the battery and now it seems there’s a loose wire or short because it starts working for a hot minute if you fiddle with it long enough.

Fun shoelaces!
These were perfect for a band marching event. They were bright and I was able to find my kid in a big group. Easy to use and fun options.

Great Laces
These were great. I bought them for the last EDC I went to. Great alternative to buying LED shoes. They were flashing all weekend and the batteries still don't need to be changed so I'm happy.They do have a rather large bulbous button on them to turn lights on/off/ and change their patterns. But the two times I've worn my laces I just decorated the button with silk flowers from the dollar tree and glitter pompoms from the arts and crafts store. Problem soled and it was super cute!

Works well
The laces were white and that meant the LED lights did not show up as well as they would have with a black shoe lace.
