Good quality throughout their small animal house collection. I have this one, the large one, and the corner one. This one in particular is just big enough for 1 guinea pig, the others are bigger. The ramp and the bridge do not come with the carpet, I purchased self adhesive carpet and cut to size. Without it, the surface is slippery and my guineas wouldn't use it. It was easy to put together, easy to clean since there is no bottom. Will be buying again!

I was please with the thickness of the wood. This looks very sturdy, and was easily assembled by my 12 year old daughter. Update: I liked the small house enough and it held up so well that we ended up buying another larger size for the guinea pigs pen. They are very well built from good quality wood and they hold up. My only wish is that I had taken the time to stain them with vinegar and food coloring before giving them to the guinea pigs. The second one I bought is the corner castle shape with the built in bowl and hayrack. I really like that it has a waterproof rubber mat on the top. Or more specifically a pee proof pad on the top. I ended up having to DIY one on the older smaller building out of some flannel sheets and an old crib sheet. I hope ydk takes to making pads for the roofs of all their buildings. I will purchase again from this company and I would recommend their structures to my pet loving friends

I just bought my third hidey house. My Piggies have not chewed up my houses yet and I am happy about that. I have 3 males and they are in a large cage and they have lots of chew toys. The houses look good, like little castles, they are durable because they haven't chew them yet, but they seem to throw them aroud and knock them over or move them but they've held up. I bought 2 other houses before and, my other brand of house (I bought 2 of them) broke and began to smell, so I decided to purchase 2 more of this brand and I'm pleased. I have a question, how do clean them in away that won't make the Guinea Pigs sick or exposed to toxic cleaners? Also is it possible to get 2 windows one on each wall?

He seems to absolutely love it! Sleeps inside all the time and likes to use the top as storage (puts his hay bag up there) 😁! He seems very happy and that’s all I care about! It was quite simple to put together and once together it’s very sturdy.

This little house is adorable. I put it together in about 4 minutes which is really saying something for me. I’m not the best with instructions. As soon as I placed it in the Guinea pig’s cage, she had to immediately enter it and check it out. She really seems to love it. It makes her feel more safe and comfortable. I chose this one because it has a soft tiny blanket that goes in the bottom to serve as the floor. It’s easily removable and washable. The sides and bottom of the actual house clean up decent. Wood isn’t the easiest to clean, but it’s a lot more practical than the soft bedding that other beds/huts use. Overall, it’s very sturdy and useful. Your fur animal will love it!

The pillow is not safe for chinchillas but the hide is really easy to put together and very sturdy and thick. The chins love to chew on it and sleep it in.

nice quality, My pigs love their new little castle They both “fight” over who gets to sleep in it for the night. Definitely worth the price & material seems durable.
