Rolie Polie Olie - Round Pal, Square Friend [VHS]

Thank you Amazon seller for having The brand new copy of this VHS tape! The original copy that I bought from the store Way back in 2001 was used so many times that my VHS tape snapped! I am glad that I have this new copy now! This was my favorite compilation episodes of Rolie Polie Olie ever! Thank you thank you thank you! Shipping was nice and great!

I bought this one as my granddaughter approaches losing her first tooth. As always this series is great for young children as I have come to expect from Disney

Rolie Polie Olie is one of the best shows. They are colorful, bright, high spirited and best of all the furnature is alive. How could you go wrong with that? They teach good lessons also.

The packaging says Rolie Polie Olie, Tooth on the Loose. The tape inside...a Dr. Seuss video. My son, who is autistic, is disappointed and not understanding why he can't see the VHS he asked for. And I am LIVID. I mean, seriously? Is it THAT HARD to send the correct VHS tape with the cover? This isn't freaking rocket science here.

It's only 24 minutes long, all the many commercials before hand are probably longer than the "feature" presentation.

Christmas takes on a post-modern twist in this video companion to television's popular Rolie Polie Olie animated series. I'll admit being charmed by the concept of "Clanky Claus" and the revised "Twas the Night Before Christmas." But I can see how the complete secularization of this holiday might offend some parents. (Not kids... kids love this video!) Jingle Jangle Eve?

A very good movie

主人公のOlieは勿論、登場人物みんなが持つ、友達や、 自分より小さな子に対する思いやりの態度に、 とても゛ほのぼの゛とするストーリーです。 話し言葉も、子ども同士の会話なので、とても吸収しやすいです。 Olieのママとパパの言葉は、子どもに言って聞かせる口語が殆どなので 親の勉強にもなりますよ。

自転車で転んでケガをしてしまった時に、「ヘルメットを被って乗っていた」と疑わない 親の誤解に対して「その時は被っていなかった」のだと言い出せなかったり、 先生から両親に渡すように預かった手紙を、友達に「きっと悪い子だからだ」と言われ、 両親には手紙の存在を隠したまま、必死にいい子になろうとしたり…。 子供時代についついてしまうような、かわいらしい「うそ」を通して、真実を伝える大切さをテーマに扱った１本です。 キャラクターもとっても可愛いし、我が家の３歳児のお気に入りの１本ですよ。

クリスマスの最新号だと思いきや、クリスマスの話は最初の１つだけ。 後の３つは、クリスマスとは関係ないです。特に、２話目は、最初「IT'S HOT!」で始まって、ええ？夏？と驚いてしまいました。でも、途中でアイススケートの話しに変わりますので、ご安心を。 うちの４才の息子は、ice cream planet（３話目）の話しに夢中で、私もこんな星に言ってアイスを食べまくりたい！という感じ。 最後の話は、迷子の流れ星の話で、なかなかかわいいですよ。

Rolie Polie Olie は私も娘も大好きで、アメリカに住んでいた時は毎日テレビで見ていました。内容の良さは既に知っていたので、即購入しました。かわいいだけでなく、子供の心を育てるお話なので、絶対にお勧めです。

ハロウィーンが好評だったので、クリスマスも買う事にしました！ で、もちろん、娘(2歳）は食いつくようにして見てます。 でも、何故かクリスマスとは違うストーリーがあり、「真夏？」を思わせる話もあって(笑） しかし、子供には通じてるようです。 私はあまりジーとストーリーを見てないのですが、娘が「アイスクリームコーン！！」と英語で言ってたので「全然違うやん」と思ってみてたのですが、実際はアイスクリームの話でした。 小さな子供さんにも良いビデオですよ♪
