Would this charger work for model #np-fm50 batteries? it's an older sony camera model #mvc-cd500. thank you!

This charger DOES WORL charging Sony NP-FW50 batteries but it is difficult to use. The tab at the bottom holds batteries so securely that it is difficult to withdraw them from the charger. I returned this charger and instead purchased the Sony BC-TRW Battery Charge which works flawlessly with multiple LEDs indicating when fully charged.
