Bought for my son to replenish his rock polishing supplies. Has everything you need at a good quality. You will likely get some of this cheaper elsewhere, but stuck to the branded stuff. Good size of kit that should last a while.

I didn’t realise that in the US the use of the term “polished”, actually gives a finish that is closer to a satin finish, than it is to a polished finish. And so I will have to buy some cerium oxide powder to get a truly polished finish.

Very good grit, and the foam actually works for the fifth step. I was pleasantly surprised.

I keep mine in my garage, so I honestly don't know how loud it would be keeping it in the house... But what I can say is, this rock tumbler is so great! It has settings and timers so I can make great smallish sets of my rocks I always go hunting for. I will say, do your research on what rocks to put together and what grit to start with them because not all rocks/crystals are as dense as some. So if you do that and order more grit/filler, you got yourself a damn good tumbler for (to me) Small to medium loads of stocks and crystals 💖

If you need additional media for polishing stones, this works well, has good instructions, and a good variety of various grit to ensure a nice looking finish. Cleans up easy, just make sure you don't do it in you sink, go outside!
