My 2011 cayenne s has a "child" symbol on the left bottom button not a pane with an "x". what is the difference?

It’s the same meaning. It turns off control to the windows and the rear climate control (if you have that) for the passengers. Make sure the other switches are the same though as there are a few different configurations.

Does this one have both buttons at the top? my cayenne has the lca (blind spot detector) and needs this second button along with the mirror folding.

It does. There is a slight difference in the window image on the buttons than the original though.

Will this fit a 2015 Macan S with blind spot monitoring?

My advise, contact the Porsche dealer ask to speak to the parts department, give them your vehicle vin # and ask if this part fits your vehicle. Most likely it would fit.
