Used this part to repair a garage door deadbolt that would not bolt. These little motors look and operate exactly like the motors in the Lift master lock assembly. The design is the same, the mounting holes are the same, the travel is the same, the linkage attachment swivel is the same, even the wires are the same color as found in the big dollar part. But these cost a hundred dollars less and you get four of them. So spend a hundred dollars less and 15 minutes of your time to fix a dead garage door deadbolt. Then you have another three left over to fix it again next time it fails.

So far is working as intended. First universal set of door lock actuators I order was from a different brand and seller and it burned out when testing and were weak. This one is strong and I can tell it will last me a long time. Installed in a 99 civic that had manual lock and this is a big upgrade

Both front doors on 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix quit working and at $100 each they were going to stay that way until I found these univeral actuators. Very easy to install. Found a wire diagram for my car on Google. Had the drivers door done within about an hour. Con was when I went to install the passengers front door I noticed the clip that ties the 2 rods together, one of the holes for the tension screws had no threads so the screw just fell thru, so I had to open the other package and use the one out of there so now I am short 1. Although both my front doors work great now the other two I was going to put in our other car but will only be able to use 1. Going to try to contact the seller to see about getting a replacement.

These work great on the 2008 Impala LTZ I installed them on. All 4 doors needed it. On the Front door they get installed on the inside and the back door just outside and below the door panel.. Excellent all the way around. New ones with my discount are $150 plus.. Saved a lot of money..

Great value! Did not fit my 98 Chevy 1500. I was able to modify the bracket and install. But realised my o.e.m. were not the problem and reinstalled them. My fuse was blown. And the grease had turned to gum inside the plastic retainers, seizing the function. I cleaned all my rods with brake cleaner. Lubed all retainers with grease. Sprayed all door mechanism with silicone. Will save these for another day. I took notes of some measurements, so I could center up my bracket to work with these on my 98 Chevy 1500. The stock door rod has 5/8" of travel (lock/unlock). Stock power door has 1 3/16" of travel. These have 3/4" of travel. I'd imagine they would still work... but you absolutely must clean and lube the rods and retainer. Spray all mechanism with silicone to overcome any drag. Otherwise you'll be redoing this again

The description said they had 13 LBS of pull and push but the ones I got only have 6 to 7 LBS of power and that's on 12v that is stamped on them, and the ends do not swivel!! But all of them worked and they did get here on time so thanks for that. I will have to use 2 of them to do what I want!!

Easy to install added power locks to an old car. Mounting straps seem a bit flimsy may not work in all applications. But seem good in mine. Cut the ends of and solder and shrink wrap for a better install.

Missing support brackets, screws are stripped out with no threads on them. Definitely don’t purchase this cheap junk.
