My 2 Chihuahuas are fussy eaters especially the one. Sometimes I think she believes she comes from royalty. I have tried several different foods, toppings and whatever else is out there. One little girl is pretty easy but her sister is a royal headache. I was looking through different things that might work when I spotted meal mixers. I decided to go for it. I was shocked when the 2 of them gobbled down their food and practically licked the bottom out of their bowls. Not every fussy eater will go for it but It will be worth a try. Dogs can be full of happy surprises.

My slightly chubby lab mix and chihuahua jack russell size mix love these mixed with their regular food. Our little one will eat all of her food in one sitting instead of grazing which is great because our bigger one then gets tempted to sneak her food. I love how they break up so they can’t just pick out them out. My dogs give it a 10 out of 10!

Although this is a free dried food I use it for training my dog with agility they’re perfect little bite-size nuggets. My dogs are very picky when it comes to treats, especially when they’re in a strange place like school so we I’m ordering them by the bulk because I have two dogs in training. So whether you’re using it as a freeze-dried or topper or as treats, this is a great option.

I used to feed raw food to my dogs but got away from it when my largest dog developed an allergy to chicken which was ½ of my recipe. Been feeding Acana dry foods which they like but still wanted to do something that was closer to raw for a topper. Stella & Chewy is readily available in stores and on Amazon so I decided to try it. The dogs were intrigued and ate up every morsel of their food even though the canned food is no longer present. They like these dry nuggets so I don't even bother soaking them first. It makes it easier to feed and I feel I am giving them something close to raw. Win-win.....I did four stars because a $41 dollar bag only lasts 11 days.......pretty costly for a topper for 3 dogs; one is 125 lbs; one is 50 lbs; and one doesn't even count at 4 lbs.

I've got a 13 year old dog that is starting to get pickier about his food. He's even started to turn his nose up at some canned foods. So I decided to try mixing in some freeze-dried nuggets. I tried several different brands and he seems to like the Stella & Chewy brand the best. Glad to find something he'll eat that's made with good ingredients. The nuggets are a decent size for dogs - not too big for a small dog, but not tiny for larger dogs. They do break apart easily or you can even crush them to make gravy like paste with water to mix in their normal food. You can put them on the food dry or add a little bit of water and hydrate it as well. My dogs like the beef, chicken, and turkey flavors - I haven't tried the seafood one yet. I've even caught one of my cats grabbing the nuggets out of the dog dish to eat, so I've started getting the kitty version of the product for her.

We have a small dog, and no matter what we buy for food, she always starts to hate the taste towards the end. We take every precaution to keep the food fresh ect. Adding 3 of these to every meal helps to stretch out the bag, but adds enough taste, texture to the bowl. Our dog eats everything now.

This is an excellent product which is very healthy for your dog and she loves it. We use a couple of pieces as a topper.

My dog LOVES these. They are decent size and I use them as a food topper. They are soft enough to crumble on top and last a while when using as a topper. My dog is only 10 lbs though. I forgot to use these one day and she wouldn’t eat her food. Will definitely be purchasing again.
