Is it permitted for seller to offer $5 for a 5 star review? Im pretty sure thats cheating

I meant it isn’t permitted and it is cheating

How far down can I tighten them? What do I need to use to cut off the extra length.

You can tighten them pretty good if you manage to do it without it snapping. They are so brittle it's frustrating

Is this automotive as well?

They will not. They barely work for light duty.

Once locked, can it be unlocked without cutting the strap?

Yes, w/ a sm flat screwdriver (or similar) and a lil effort, are they made to be, no, but it can be done. As w/ any zip tie, you can get a sm flat screwdriver in between the strap and lil locking mechanism and keeping the screwdriver in between the two (to keep it from re-locking onto the strap) while you pull the strap out. Since these zip ties are tiny it takes a lil more effort, but I haven’t cut a single one when needed to remove, after you get the hang of it it goes much smoother and quicker, (might want to try it w/ a bigger zip tie the first time since those are much easier).
