This is the only food our cat can eat without getting sick. It was prescribed by his specialist and has worked wonders for him

I've got a cat that's allergic to store bought cat food. It caused a lesion to appear on his lip. My vet recommended this. That was 8 years ago. He has never tired of eating this food. My dearly departed cats from days gone by would get tired of their food and I would have to search for something else until they tired of that. Not this stuff. I'd recommend it even if your cat doesn't have allergies. It's pricey but necessary in my case. I was buying at the vet for about $10 more for 8.5lb bag. Glad it's sold here for less.

I love the product. My cat loves it too. We were recommended this food by our vet because our cat has a frequent vomiting issue cured by shots, which she hates. Hill's Prescription d/d did the trick. However, it is WAY overpriced on Amazon. The 3.5lb bag is $28 on Peapod, and actually less than that directly from my vet!

My male cat was having digestive issues. Tried different kinds of food but soft stools kept re-occurring. He was scooting on the carpet. He had to have his glands expressed again and again. The vet suggested four different 'prescription' foods. First I tried a hydrolyzed protein food. My cat liked the food and the soft stools disappeared but his skin became drier and his mood changed for the worse. I switched to this food and now he is doing great. His skin and mood improved. He seems more content then ever, a little more frisky. The frequent trips to the vet have stopped. It's worth the price.

Cannot really say much about it. But my cat will not eat it unless I mix it with wet food. It was prescribed by the veterinarian. So far haven’t seen any improvement with her condition.

Cats love it as far we can tell.

Tried this for my cat's skin issues. Both my cats seemed to like it. However, one threw it up several times. Difficult to know if it was this food or other things she was licking/chewing at around the house that caused her to vomit. Her skin issues did not clear up, though. So, we're trying all canned prescription diet now.

Great product, my cat has protein sensitivities. Amazon is the best way to get this product for less. Like essential products (diapers, tampons, etc) I feel the price of hydrolyzed food is insane.

This really helped my cats poor tummy. He was not keeping down his regular food and this really helped him a lot. Plus the even though the bag is small the food is dense and it went a long way.
