Best book of three that I bought for my grandson. Large pages and pictures, very colorful, informative, good feel to the paper.

This book is a great resource for any age and level of snake-lover. (Of course, the reading level will be too high for very young children without some help, but the beautiful, colorful images and graphs alone will inspire their curiosity.). I purchased the book for my teenager who is passionate about herpetology. He loves it!

The book provides an independent study of various species of snakes, educating readers on common habits and habits of the snakes listed. Very informative and interesting for children fascinated by reptiles.

This is a very nice book about snakes. I bought it for my 6 year old son who likes snakes and likes informational books about animals. Initially I bought Chris Mattison’s other book about snakes but that one was like a textbook which was just too much information for a 6 year old. I returned that one and bought this one instead and I’m happy that I did. This book gives a good amount of information without being overwhelming and has some beautiful big pictures of snakes too. What I like most about this one is it goes through lots of different kinds of snakes giving some information and pictures about each one. I know my son will like to learn about the different kinds of snakes.

I got this great book for my 5year old son that is snake mad! its great! they got a picture of the snake and lots of detail for him to learn and read about! He is telling me new facts all the time! Great book! i can see this being the bedtime book for many nites!

当然英語なんですが、日本版は高いのでこちらを購入しました。全ての蛇が出ているわけではありません。代表的なものだけですが、写真がきれいでレイアウトも私好みで、いかにも外国の図鑑という感じです。写真が大きいので見応えがありますので、愛でたい人用の1冊でしょう。

Nothing to complain about the book itself. But the package was just padded envelope. Unfortunately it doesn't protect the book very well. It happens a few time already for me. Nothing ever major, scratches and marks on the covers, but if you expect a pristine book... Got a artbook a few days ago that came in a box and it was in perfect condition. Not sure what the rules for selecting the package . Both were handlef by Amazon.

After receiving it I noticed that it's the same book I've had since I was a child I lost that one so I was very surprised to have it back in my collection It's not super specific but it illustrates a lot of different species from the globe All in all a great book
