I recommend
these Hickory chips are terrific. I put them in my smoke box and it gave my meat a really good taste as if I use charcoal. I use the electric grill and my meat turned out really fantastic. It burns really well. I didn’t have to wet them at all. The wood had good quality. It just wasn’t real big. I just wanted a smaller ones and it didn’t have any problem burning and had a good order to it. Smell like Hickory good price I do recommend.

Work great in my stovetop smoker with a little modification.
These chips are too big to use in my Cameron stovetop smoker. Not a problem. I just throw them into my old blade type coffee grinder and grind them to the texture that I need. WAY cheaper than the Cameron's brand. They have a great smell and flavor. This will be my go-to in the future.

The smaller chips are perfect for low temp smoking.

Created a lot of smoke.
I’ve been using the same propane smoker for the past 15 years. I’ve tried a lot of different brands of wood chips. These, by far, created the greatest amount of smoke. I’m not sure if it added any more flavor to the meat, but it looked good while it was cooking.

Not worth the price
Value for the money is not here at $7 a pound (purchased in march 2026). Product is fine.
