If my puppy (Akita, 14 weeks old) is 38 lbs, what size should I get?

I believe the medium would fit. The velcro straps allow for a wide sizing range. My 33 lb Spaniel mix fits the medium.

My Labrador is about 86 pounds. Would a large fit her?

Dear friend: We recommend that you refer to our size L: Chest 17"-20"/43-51cm, neck 10.5"-12"/26.6-30.5cm, back 6.5"/16.5cm.

what material is it made of?

Seems like it’s reinforced felt.

What size should I get for a 10lb cat?

I would definitely look for something called a cat costume. This would be too gob. The wings do not stick out like they show they just flap down. We used some thread and tied them together to make them stand up.
