Can this be used for kids, ages 10-12?

I would say if the grinding is bothering a child that age enough to tell his folks , I would say give it a try. My son started with his when he was 12....

Are these hard like rocks when set, or are they kind of soft, rubbery?

They are hard once set but they are very comfortable. They are thinner than regular night guards. Also, once you have set the guard to your needs the “hardness” is barely noticeable. I would think a soft night guard would get munched up pretty quickly if your a grinder. This is by far the best night guard out there….

how long does it last?

Endlich eine Schiene mit der ich zurecht komme

Die MIchigan Schiene vom Zahnarzt hat meine Beschwerden verstärkt, anstatt sie zu beseitigen. Die Michigan Schiene ist für mich viel zu klobig, zu hart und vor allem zu dick. Sie zwingt meinen Kiefer in einen unentspannten Zustand. Ausserdem beidde ich damit noch viel mehr. Nach diversen Käufen von Schienen bin ich nun endlich fündig geworden. Die Sova Aero Night Guard habe ich für meinen Unterkiefer angepasst. Sie ist ultradünn und im Mund kaum wahrnehmbar. Ich bin so dankbar, dass es diese Schiene gibt. Endlich kann ich entspannt und ohne Sorgen einschlafen. Diese Schiene ist dünn, passt perfekt in meinen Mund und der Härtegrad ist so viel angenehmer als bei der Michiganschiene.
