Quality food
A good brand, cat loves it and it maintains his health

Obvious benefits to both a pet and a stray.
We started feeding a stray cat during a severe winter storm, and after checking with experts in organizations dedicated to animal care, we committed to feeding it on an ongoing basis. Wow, the improvement in this cat's skin and fur and eyes and energy is something to behold! Within a month, his skin problems were well on the way to healing, and his coat began thickening up. His eyes looked brighter and more alert, and he walked with more energy. A few months in, he is unrecognizable as the mangy, sickly stray who first arrived! The cat was an excellent hunter, and was not going hungry before we started feeding him, but the nutritional mix he gets from Science Diet 7+ has worked wonders -- better than what nature provided. Our neighbors' cat started spending her days on our deck while our neighbors were out of town -- (reclaiming "her" territory from the stray, perhaps?) -- and, with her humans' permission, we started feeding our neighbor cat small treats of Science Diet, as well. This cat is well loved and cared for by her humans, but even her fur showed a noticeable improvement within a few weeks, becoming softer and thicker. I noticed a change, but didn't comment aloud about it. Apparently, my son noticed the difference as well, and said so, and I had to concur. Her coat now is so thick and luxuriant -- greatly improved since the change from better brands found in the grocery store -- and she obviously LOVES the flavor of the Science Diet. Cat food is cat food is cat food, right? NO!

Cat likes the food; should be good for her as a "senior" cat
My cat is now a bit older and I thought I'd buy food that helps her in her "senior" years. She likes the food but she's not fussy, so she has liked all the food I've given her. But I like Hill's Science Diet foods so I bought this. She's happy. I'm happy.
