These are a Lowrance product and replacement was a simple install, test and start catching fish again. Not sure why the original cable failed after about 10 years but this should last as long, or longer.

Received this as a 6 ft. cable and the replacement was 6 ft. with the only option of a refund. I suspect this is NOT a 15 ft. cable at all and the only other option on Amazon is a Lowrance Ethext-15Yl Ethernet Cable at $26 more which is a ridiculous for just 9 ft. of shielded wire.

I wanted to be able to see my active target on all of my HDS Live's. This did the trick. That way the co-angler can see whats going on as well. It just works!

This cable is indispensable if you are running multiple lowrance or simrad units with ethernet capability. You can share your charts, transducer data and many other settings to/from different units. You can also use it to connect Radar units, etc.
