Use 2x the suggested amount
I learned this the hard way- you must use 2x the suggested amount in order for your phytoplankton to thrive. Whenever I use only the suggested amount the whole batch dies

This is a great product to culture microalgae
This is a great product to culture microalgae. In the past I've used Miracle Gro with mostly failure where the culture would completely crash relatively quickly. This nannochloropsis culture got dark quickly and has remained alive for more than a 3 weeks now, there's a power head in there that you cant even see anymore.

Great results! I spoke with David and he is really knowledgeable and has answered all my questions quickly and in detail. I wouldn’t hestitate to buy again. He also sells phytoplankton, which is excellent! I would recommend he sell copepods and rotifers, but to each their own. I would buy them if he did.

Worth the money.
This stuff made my phytoplankton multiply like crazy. Way better than using aquarium fertilizer. People who use miracle grow are idiots, don't be one of those people.
