The Secrets to Healing, Resilience and Immunity With the Most Powerful Natural Medicine in History From the bestselling author of Keto Diet Long before the first pharmaceutical companies opened their doors in the 1850s, doctors treated people, not symptoms. And although we've become used to popping pills, patients have finally had it with the dangerous side effects, addiction and over-prescribing - and they're desperate for an alternative. Here's the good news: that alternative has been here all along in the form of ancient treatments used for eons in traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic and Greek medicine. Ancient Remedies for Modern Life is the first comprehensive layman's guide that will bring together and explain to the masses the very best of these time-tested practices. Bestselling author Dr. Axe explores the foundational concepts of ancient healing - eating right for your type and living in sync with your circadian clock. Readers will learn how traditional practitioners identified the root cause of each patient's illness, then treated it with medicinal herbs, mushrooms, CBD, essential oils and restorative mind-body practices. What's more, they'll discover how they can use these ancient treatments themselves to cope with dozens of diseases, from ADHD to diabetes, hypothyroidism, autoimmune disease and beyond. Through engaging language and accessible explanations, Ancient Remedies for Modern Life offers readers everything they need to know about getting, and staying, healthy - without toxic, costly synthetic drugs. Review: Amazing - I'm loving this book! Very useful Review: Top health book I frequently reference. - One of the most useful books I have ever purchased. Any time someone asks me a health question or shares a concern, this is the first book I use for reference. It’s been helpful to me and many others in my community. I highly recommend Dr. Axe. The brownie and meatloaf recipes have been personally tested and approved by me. Also, the format in the middle of the book is so simple and easy to reference the exact issue you’d like ancient remedies for.

Very informative
It's a good book. Lists recipes, supplements to take, and several treatments options. Dr. Axe covers all modalities of treatment. It's a general ailments book. I was looking for a specific ailment which isn't listed in the book unfortunately. Otherwise it's a good buy.

Helpful tips
Lots of good advice , unfortunately I'm not an avid reader so I have read portions or examined foods or herbs that I was curious of how certain herbs work together or against each other. If I have a question I check it for advice

Love this Book
I love this book! For all the people saying it’s not realistic to be able to buy the stuff Dr. Axe recommends, that’s a silly reason not to buy the book. I have used several remedies and it is my go to book when we have an illness of any kind. Would definitely recommend!
