My favorite small kitchen knife of all time
This knife is not only a great value as price goes, but it is just such a nice knife to have handy in the kitchen. The handle is comfortable and the knife is well made but being wood I personally will not put it in a dishwasher. I have bought several of these as the years have gone by, I think a few may have moved out as children moved, but that's okay since it is a good reliable knife and they should have one too. The blade is just perfect in my opinion, it is great for paring or boning chicken. I couldn't wait for my new knife to arrive, but it did arrive in time and well packaged and I would work with this seller again.

Magnificent Kitchen Tool
I have used the Chicago Cutlery paring knife for eons and see it as such a necessity that I purchase on for every wedding gift we give. The narrow girth and effectively sharpened blade enable me to easily prepare meats and vegetables for our meals. I keep 3 in my own kitchen in order for other ‘helpers’ to enjoy the use of a fine, sharp knife which fits well into my hand. Highly recommend!

The only paring knife to own!
This is a perfect paring knife! It's the only one I use now, and I use it for other small jobs as well. It's sharp and best of all, nice and thin, so it's easy to pare fruit and vegetables without tiring your hand. I searched a long time to find a paring knife that felt comfortable in hand, and did a good job--this is it!

Forty Years vs Brand New
This, my friends, is what over FORTY YEARS of service looks like with this awesome paring knife on the left, the brand new one is on the right. Obviously the handle on the old one got water-logged MANY times (but the rivets are STILL intact) while I was peeling potatoes and thin-slicing mushrooms, coring strawberries and apples, and many other countless tasks throughout my life. This little paring knife is my go-to. The blade is slender and tapered so it makes peeling potatoes of their skins (without losing a bunch of potato), quick and easy and digging out any little eyes a snap. I never liked plucking strawberry cores and sliced them out quickly and easily. The other day I was musing over the day one of the rivets failed, or the handle just snapped and noticed the model number on the handle. Was elated find out I could still get this awesome and classic little paring knife. Chicago Cutlery rocks!

well made
We actually lost somewhere in our house (I suspect my husband workshop) our old faithful knife that we used every day....often. And so we decided to purchase this one which is the exact design of our Old Faithful. We bought two - because who knows if they will ever be available again. We use this new knife EVERYDAY as well - and find the quality and durability top shelf. We'd recommend this product.

Sharp
This is a good and sharp paring knife. The wood is not sealed very. I will probably put a clear coat seal over the top of the wood handle.

Bin sehr zufrieden
Klinge nicht ganz so gut wie früheres Modell. Trotz nachschärfen ist die Klinge nicht so scharf. Dafür den Stern Abzug.

This is my 3rd Chicago Cutlery
Great steel - easy to keep sharp with a diamond hone. Also purchased the 15 inch bread knife - wow that is also a keeper. I am a knife nut and appreciate Carbon Steel. No the soft Stainless variety.
