Best sprayer ever. AND STILL IS AFTER 4 YEARS.
UPDATE: I HAVE HAD THIS SPRAYER FOR NESRLY 4 YEARS. I purchased it in April 2017. And I still love it. The handle sticks some now, so every once in a while I have to pump it to get it to unstick so it will come on or shut off, but other than that it still looks and works good as new! We have moved s few times and moved it around the house a few times and it has been used and abused by adults and kids alike. I still love the toggle on it--keeps kids who are too young to use it without causing a catastrophe from figuring out how to work it, but it is plenty simple enough for an adult. Also, we ended up changing our sink faucet to a waterfall which is not compatible with this, but Amazon sells a part you can attach to your shower that this easily connects to so you could run this from the shower instead. I can also vouch for this company's integrity and customer service. I had some issues with installing on my sink originally and they were very quick to respond, helping me trouble shoot, and sending me some other adapters to try. This sprayer is also much cheaper than it was when I bought it 4 years ago (and again 2 years ago as a gift to a friend because I love it so much lol). Definitely a steal at $30!!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am in love with this sprayer and have been telling everyone about it! I was easily able to install it myself and immediately saw several benefits to this sprayer design over those that connect to the toilet's water supply: a) my toddler cannot turn the sprayer on randomly and soak the house and b) if it were to leak, the leaking water will run into the sink and not onto the floor as it would in a toilet model. I'm loving using this as a warm-water bidet and will be using it to clean our cloth diapers once our little one arrives. The strength of the water pressure can be controlled both at the faucet and at the sprayer nozzle (by not pushing as hard). This sprayer feels like it is made very well, lol a luxury item. Solid metal! The hose is long enough to go from my sink to my tub, so this may be used to clean our kiddos too!

Invaluable timesaver & mess-preventer for in-home caregivers.
I'm the caregiver for my elderly mother who has dementia. When she has diarrhea, she can't cope with cleaning herself. I'll spare you all the details. Suffice it to say the SmarterFresh warm water bidet sprayer allows her to be cleaned up while she sits on the toilet instead of having to undress her and put her in the shower, etc. The SmarterFresh sprayer changes a 1 hour mess into a 10 minute "freshen up" (several times a day). I've used it several times over the last couple of weeks. The sprayer hose is about 7 feet and very flexible. The "faucet diverter" attaches to the bathroom sink faucet (it replaces the aerator) and so the water temperature and pressure is adjustable with each use, whether cleaning the toilet, clothing or a living person. Some faucets are a "junior" size and the "faucet diverter" won't attach. The installation instructions talk about this and recommend the kind of adapter to buy from a hardware store. Not all hardware stores carry such adapters. I went to 4 different places and finally found the "Lasco" brand, model 09-1661NL "aerator adapter kit" which has 3 different size adapters, one of which worked perfectly. After the time-consuming hunt for the proper aerator adapter (Grrrrrr) it installed perfectly without tools in about 5 minutes. The SmarterFresh sprayer is very well made. All the parts are metal with a chrome or brushed stainless steel finish. It can be wiped clean quickly and easily. The faucet diverter valve is precisely fit and snug with no play or leaks but very smooth operation. It has a nice, solid feel. When the valve is switched to flow into the sink you get a consistently aerated spray with no errant or combined streams. Likewise the bidet sprayer thumb lever has a very snug yet smooth operation with no leaks. The spray nozzel has 18 holes which produce a high volume flow, that sprays 18 co-linear streams into a 5/8-inch diameter spray that is soft to the touch on impact. The spray doesn't widen or narrow, it is essentially an 5/8-inch diameter cylinder. There is no needle-like stinging jet spray. It is ideal for washing delicate skin with a lot of water. The hose connections at each end swivel freely but snugly, no leaks. The sprayer handle fits well into the palm of the hand and, being a brushed stainless steel finish, it doesn't feel slippery when wet; you get a firm grip, it swivels on the hose as you wish, and the lever is easily operated by your thumb. It was shipped and arrived promptly, adequately packaged to avoid damage. I would like an optional angle-adjustable sprayer, where the bidet sprayer head mounts on a 45-degree joint that can be rotated from a straight inline position (as it is now) thru to a 90 degree angled position (and any lesser angle in between). This would allow the sprayer to be more easily angled towards those "hard to reach places" without having to hold the sprayer underneath the body.

Love, love, love!
The only bad thing about this hand-held bidet is that when you use the toilet away from home you miss it so much. It was incredibly easy to install. No drips, no leaks, no inconvenience. It works as described and seems to be very sturdy and well made. I have been using it for 10 days now and I don't know how I lived without it before. The metal-covered hose is very long (about 6 feet, I would say) so, even though our sink is to the left of the toilet and I am right-handed, we placed the hose around the back of the water bowl of the toilet and hang the handle on the right side. Very convenient. In response to those who complained that the faucet attachments don't fit, I can point out that you have to REMOVE the outer ring of your faucet before you can screw on the attachment for this hose (very quick and easy procedure). And there are several alternative attachment pieces included in the package; at least one of them will fit just about any standard hot/cold combined faucet. Just one caveat, particularly applicable to female users, keep the water pressure from the faucet LOW, and when you start to the use the hand-held, start the water streaming into the toilet bowl, not at yourself. The starting stream can be pretty strong and could hurt you. We had spent a lot of time studying the various options for a portable bidet and were just about ready to buy one of the toilet-seat ones that attach to the flushing device water supply. But we were put off by the descriptions of leaks and by the admonitions to turn off the supply before going out. So we bought this SmarterFresh Faucet Sprayer Warm Water Bidet, and are SO glad we did.

A Nice Entreรฉ To The World of Bidet Washing
I'm a bidet neophyte, having never used any type of bidet before, but definitely wanting to try one. I thought about getting an electronic bidet seat but decided not to spend the $$$ until I determined if I'd like using a bidet. So I decided handheld would be good and I chose this one because it has the sink adapter and all the parts needed and reviews of good support from the company. Installation was dead simple and I'm no plumber. I did have to use the male adapter attachment, so I'm glad that was included in the package. There were more than enough washers included, I didn't use all that were supplied. The hose connects easily, I had no leaks, and the length of the hose is good. It's a simple matter to turn on the water at the sink and have the water instantly diverted to the sprayer. Water pressure is good. My particular challenge is getting my water temperature to be just right. I have to run the water in the sink for a good 30 seconds otherwise it's too cold. Once the hot water comes through I've found that while the water stream feels perfect (warm but not hot) in the sink, once I divert the water to the sprayer the temperature of the water coming out of the sprayer fluxes quite a bit from too cold to too hot then back again with some seconds of 'just right.' I can feel the sprayer handle heating up in my hand even when the water is just set at a luke warm setting. It's like the hot water is beating its way to the sprayer ahead of the cold water but then they switch. I'm now erring on the side of caution and using more cold water than I'd prefer so I don't burn myself when spraying. I really wish the water temp was consistently luke warm and mixed just like it is when I use my sink faucet. I'm not sure what to do about this uneven water temperature issue as it doesn't occur at the sink itself, only happening through the diverter and then on to the sprayer. Other than that I'm liking the whole cleaning with water experience. I put a bottle of diluted liquid soap next to the toilet so I can get super clean, as needed.

Excellent quality; wonderful for caregivers and self-care
I have been using this for my mother, who has Alzheimer's, since July 2018, so I can confidently say that it is extremely well made and easy to install and use. A friend's question about it prompted this review. I have used it almost every day now for two years and have never had a problem with any of the components and have never had it leak. Kevin contacted me soon after I bought it to see if installation went well, and I am as impressed as all of the other reviewers on here with his customer service and willingness to send other adaptors if those included did not work. They did. I was afraid this would never work on the 70's pink sink in my mother's bathroom (see photo), where I was fairly sure the aerator had never been removed since the original faucet was installed, but that came right off and this was all installed within five or ten minutes. I was grateful that the spray nozzle holder just hangs over the side of the toilet and holds the nozzle perfectly in place. Being able to adjust the water temperature from the faucet is a boon; after I switch the diverter position, I always spray into the sink first to get the water temperature even (and to test it on my hand first). Pressure is controlled through the sprayer handle but if it is still too strong, remember that you can control flow from your taps as well. Any caregiver will appreciate how useful this is; anyone who uses it for self-care will be very pleased. If you spray gently, it is possible to shower the upper body while sitting as well. In short, quality and usefulness are outstanding; clarity of instructions lessen any stress about installing.

Brilliant, simple to use, effective, and simple to install
I only received this yesterday evening, but installed this morning and have used twice. Because of a shoulder and back injury, getting to the bottom of things was becoming a little difficult. I am now converted. First off, installation couldn't have been simpler. Spin out the aerator on the faucet, spin the diverter valve on. No tools were needed in my case except for my fingers. I did have to back out the adapter once and add a wrap of Teflon tape (thoughtfully provided in the box) . Attach hose and spray head. Again, I was able to get a leak-free install with no tools at all. The unit does take a little forethought to use. I suggest setting water pressure and temp before one sets down to business. Also purge the water hose to fill it with warm water. The chilly stuff that's inside the pipe can be a real eye-opener. Make sure to drain the spray head, turn off the taps, and switch the diverter back to the sink once done with the bum. Build quality is superb. We're talking brass and stainless steel, all with fine finish and polish. No crappy chrome-plated plastic here. The thoughtful hanger for the spray head simply hooks over the toilet tank, although they do provide anchors for wall mounting if you really like to drill holes into your bath's plaster. In use, the whole rig is quite seductive. Think of it as a car wash for the backside. Since there is plenty of water, one can take one's time and make sure there are no Klingons on Uranus. I don't have the gear to test the feminine washing function, but the thumb lever allows varying the water force from a gentle stream to a fairly powerful flow, depending on needs or desires. Possibly the best thing about this system is that it can be portable, or at least transportable. Going on vacation to the cottage? It takes very little time to disconnect the whole thing and bring it along. You can be a shiny butt wherever you travel.

Awesome and simple!
My wife convinced me to give this a try, and so far I'm pretty impressed. I'm going to have to get used to working with this, have never used a bidet or anything like this before -- but from the start it's pretty awesome! Installation took me about 2 minutes -- including a bit of brush-scrubbing the existing fitting after removing the aerator, so it would be nice and clean for the new attachment. Water pressure is awesome, we'll be using it with the tap only partly open because full-open it's a real blast! No leaks, even with pressure on the hose and the sprayer off. I just hand-tightened all fittings, using an existing washer in the tap (there's another supplied in the box, but I didn't need it as our tap already had one on the aerator) and the supplied washers on the hose and fittings. Used the sprayer-mount with the fitting to hang it on the edge of the toilet tank, easy-peasy. The diverter/aerator extends about 2.25" (say, 5.7cm) lower than the old aerator. I was a bit concerned that this wouldn't leave enough room under for easy hand-washing in the sink, but it works fine -- space is of course tighter, but not a problem (and I have big hands). The action of the diverter lever is really smooth, and the action of the sprayer too. You can adjust the flow pretty finely with pressure on the sprayer lever (after setting the flow at the tap; again, for us, the tap only needs to be open about halfway or less to have really good pressure at the sprayer, and our water pressure is not particularly high).

Recommended product.
I really like this bidet. It is the first one I've ever used. I purchased because of the good reviews. PROS: Extremely well designed and made! Seriously fine machining. Fabulously packaged too. Very fast ship. I can attest to how simple it was to install as well. I didn't time it, but just took minutes after I unpacked it all. Nice long, flexible, durable hose. Installed, it does not interfere with my sink use at all. *The biggest PRO of course is that it really works for personal hygiene and health. Also saves on TP and is helpful with cleaning both toilet and sink. CONS: My biggest issue was where to place the spray head holster. It is meant to hook on the toilet tank. The hook works fine and is unobtrusive. But when I had it on there, it required awkward twisting to unhook and hook. Because of the ridged hose design I often had difficulty getting the nozzle head out and properly seated back in. I would recommend a tiltable nozzle holder or maybe vinyl covered to make removal smoother? I would have also liked the ability to attach to the side of my sink vanity or the wall. That would eliminate both holster and hose length issues for me. My bathroom is very small so the long hose was hanging down and getting caught on the wastebasket. Maybe a selection of hose lengths? NEUTRAL OBSERVATION: It did take me some time to learn how to best hold the nozzle and not get water outside of toilet or on my clothing. I still have to wipe water off of the toilet seat, etc. after every use. Not a big issue.

Legit product ๐
Product came in in decent package w/ complete parts/accessories & manual. Material is light but sturdy. It's easy to assemble and fits faucet perfectly. I just added about 2-3 rounds of thread tape and snug tight only with wrench. Now, I won't worry anymore of that cold water on my bum. ๐คฃ I can now mix hot & cold water.

Just go and get one or two or three
Read loads of reviews. Was never keen on cold wetness with bidet so got the smarter fresh. It's so much smarter to use warm water to clean up. It leaves you feeling soooooooo fresh, and because the stream of water is so precise you don't get everywhere soaking wet and unhygienic - that was one of my fears. Its excellent, I'm buying more the other toilets.
