Great
I'm not a professional jump roper by any means but I have owned a few jump ropes in my time and this one is by far the best. I was recommended a plastic wire instead of polyester or fabric, simply because it makes it easier to swing and has less friction in the air. The handles are also very comfortable and has a good grip. It seems like a good jump rope that will last me a while!

Too short for many people. Too lightweight?
.I’m a beginner to jumping rope, so don’t take this as an expert's review. If I was surer of myself, I would probably give it 2 stars.I see there are a lot of under-$12 jump ropes that seem to have better features than this one.PROs: - Comfortable foam-covered ball-bearing handles - Very lightweight for travel (4-1/8 oz total)CONs: * 98” cord is too short for a lot of people (see Note 1) - Not very easy to adjust & re-adjust the length - You might wish for a heavier cord (see Note 2)- - - Disclosure - - -The manufacturer gave me this item for review. I believe my review is impartial.- - - Notes - - -Note 1: This “Cord length 98-inchs — suitable for all kinds of people” rope is too short for a lot of people. I see advice that if you stand on the rope with feet at shoulder width, the handle ends should hit your armpits. According to that rule, I need another 12.” I’m 5 ft-11 in. Even if I step on the cord with one foot (another rule I saw), It’s about 5” too short. A lot of jump ropes are 9-10 feet. The one I got measures 8 ft 1-1/2 in.Note 2: The 3/16” solid rubbery-plastic cord seems too light. Makes it a little harder to keep the rope moving consistently forward and out-stretched.~~~ Comments & questions welcome ~~~
