How much weight can it take

I didn’t do an actual load fail test on these straps, but it’s been suspending my 50lb heavy bag for almost a year in the garage!!

Whats the point of having a spring on a heavy bag mount?

At least in my case, it's less jarring to the mount and reduces stress to the attachment point on the ceiling.
