Energizer Universal+ LED Headlamp (2-Pack)

I recently gave these headlamps as a gift to my husband who loves outdoor adventures and does a lot of handyman work around the house and with cars, and he has been absolutely thrilled with them! This headlamp set is a total winner, offering both practicality and high performance—whether they’re hiking, camping, or working on a DIY project at night. First, the brightness is incredible. These headlamps provide a powerful beam of light that’s perfect for outdoor use. Whether it’s a nighttime trail hike or working under the hood of a car, the adjustable beam can illuminate a large area and focus in on smaller details. My husband has mentioned how impressed they are with how well the light reaches, even in the darkest of conditions. Plus, the ability to adjust the brightness level is super handy, especially for conserving battery life when you don’t need the full power. The comfort factor is another huge plus. The adjustable headband is soft, flexible, and fits securely without being too tight. It stays in place, even during long hikes or while working on a project, so there’s no worrying about the headlamp slipping or shifting. It’s lightweight and doesn’t cause any strain, which makes it great for extended wear—perfect for those late-night tasks or long outdoor excursions. These headlamps are the ideal gift for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities like camping, hiking, fishing, or hunting, or for someone who works with their hands and needs reliable lighting for projects around the house. My husband uses them for everything from late-night car repairs to nighttime walks, and they’ve become an indispensable tool. If you’re looking for a practical and thoughtful gift for an outdoor enthusiast or handyman, these headlamps are a fantastic choice. They combine powerful lighting, comfort, and long-lasting battery life—everything you need to get the job done in the dark. And all for a reasonable price! Highly recommend!

Can't get any more "handy" or should I say "handless"....haha...no hands needed...when I say no hands needed that itself should imply portability, people should be able to see by size that it's light/low weight, which if u want it to be placed on top of the forehead or hat would definitely be needed. Stability definitely depends on adjusting, which myself am not the best at, and it takes a while to figure out and/or place fingers correctly but when it's complete, it fits perfectly, 155%!! Quality A+++

Overall, these are good headlamps. Super bright. Took seconds to assemble head strap, without reading instructions. Very intuitive. The only reason why I provided only four stars is that it lacks an adjustable tilt, reducing functionality. The lights are bright off in the distance, however because there is no tilt mechanism, it is difficult to see right in front of you, in the dark. If the headlamp is lowered from your forehead to the bridge of the nose, it is possible to see the illuminated ground in front of you, however this is uncomfortable and awkward. Several years ago, I owned an LL Bean headlamp. It had the adjustable tilt. Granted they were more expensive, but I would rather pay a few more bucks and get something more useful and functional. Overall, the energizer lights are a great value for the money. They come with high quality batteries, unlike many products that provide cheapo batteries that don't last. Bottom line, these lights are a good value, depending on what you intend on using them for. If you plan on using them for working on a project, whereby you just look straight ahead, they are great. However, if you plan on ever walking with them, be aware that they lack the tilt feature.

Very bright and does not fall down on the head.

I bought Four of these Headlamps to keep in my Truck, around the house, tool box, tackle box. They are not complicated with several confusing light modes, nor does it light up the city when you turn it on. But it's great for use around the house or to check your oil at night when stopping for gas, or to turn a screw or bolt in dim light. Just useful light with a purpose. They are inexpensive, so you can buy several and put them where you need them. It clicks on and off. Imagine that. No 8 hour course on the different modes and use. Uses two easy to find batteries, and it's actually comfortable on the head. Easy to adjust the band and also has a Red LED for low light/ night vision. Going to order a few more. My Wife stole mine and I need another for my EDC Bag.

The light is bright, and the battery housing feels durable. It’s nice to have a lamp that shipped with high quality batteries so that’s a positive. The lamp portion of this product works well and illuminates the space directly in front of you. Where this headlamp falls short is the construction of the headband. The package came with two headlamps and two straps. Both straps had lackluster stitching where it mattered. That may have been an isolated quality control issue. The had banned straps are one of the few components to this product so the fact they were poorly stitched was the reason I couldn’t give this a higher rating.

This headlamp delivers impressive brightness, and I love how the beam follows my gaze because it’s super convenient for hands-free tasks. It comes with Energizer batteries, and the battery life has been solid so far. It's also comfortable to wear for extended periods, which is a big plus. The adjustability works well for the most part, though I can see how some might have issues with the angle staying put. In terms of build quality, it feels decent for the price. It's not the most rugged, but definitely functional. Overall, it’s a great value headlamp for casual use like camping, hiking, or working around the house.
