Need for Speed, finally...with a story
This game exceeded my expectations after I bought it for $10. There is finally a story in this game. While it may not be the best and may only be a timed sequences where you press a button to perform an action during a scene like Heavy Rain, it still is good. Graphics: Excellent. The Frostbite 2 engine in this game that they use for the Battlefield series really shows. Colors are bright, saturation is balanced, and lighting is, of course with this engine, spectacular. Sound: I knew the sound would be excellent from the start. I am using a home theatre system, and the cars sound GREAT. Some of the cars that you know should sound mean, sound...mean. This may be a small thing, but even the tire screeching impressed me. It is not overly annoying like in Gran Turismo. The sound perfectly matches the attempts the car tries to get a grip of the road when you turn. The music choice is excellent too. Strolling through the country side and transitioning into country is some kind of upbeat pop country, really heightens the tension. Gameplay: As cars blaze upwards in a series of streets in an incline only found in San Fransisco, the car doesn't stay LASER STRAIGHT. If you pay attention, the car actually slightly moves left and right in an attempt to regain traction with the car. Great realism! The handling of the cars is also impressive because it is more realistic than previous Need for Speeds. No turning on a dime doing 100mp around a corner. You can still do that, but still takes a little skill. The car choice in this game is a little overwhelming. Not only do you have supercars like Murcielago, but some standard cars too. Sound familiar? Need for Speed Underground has this kind of car selection, because sometimes you need to relate yourself to the typical driver, not to some millionaire who affords a Ferrari, as well as the police somehow...My favorite car, the Nissan GT-R is in this game too. NOW, considering there is actually a story line in this game, expect guns. The opening scene has people shooting at your car, yes shooting. Some of you might be skeptical. "Guns in a NFS game?" Let me remind you that the famous movie Fast and the Furious wasn't just about racing, it had a storyline too with GUNS in it. So what if there are guns? The more guns, if you ask me, the more there is an actual story line, rather than the typical Need for Speed "I need to make a name for myself by working through the ranks" story. In conclusion: This game is like a racing game and an action movie combined into one. If you want to play Need for Speed Pursuit where you go 500mph and have police chasing you at those speeds and have to crash through a police blockade at those speeds sustaining little damage, so ahead. I'll be right here soaking up the game that is as close as you can get to the Fast and the Furious movie, as close as you can get to an action movie, and as close as you can get to some sort of realism involved.

I haven't played all nfs games but of the ones I have played I love this one most!
Hands down best racing games I've ever played, first off there's not customization for ANY cars but that would be the only downside in my opinion. Now with the con outta the way let me talk about the greatness of this game. Its graphics are off the chain, I love most of these cars and they not only have new sports cars but classic models too. Its amazing sound with a gaming headset, and when you crash you feel the intensity and shame of it lol, you will never want to crash again unless you like to crash? The story/campaign is really well put together. They give you real extreme scenarios were you have to pay attention to actually keep it going. The campaign is long enough to satisfy anybody unless you unreasonably except more from a racing game, and aside from the campaign they have challenges for a wide variety of cars (exotic, muscle, technical), tracks(backwards included) and cops of course. Overall I think this is a must have game for any race loving gamer.

This is a 5 star game!
It is rare that I give a product or a video game 5 stars, But this one definitely deserves it. For a PS 3 the graphics in this game are awesome!! Everything looks and feels very real. Very good AI. Doing the campaign is like being in a movie! In addition to tons of crazy driving and challenges, there are also times where you have to do things outside of the car! Like resisting arrest and running from the cops to having to break your way out of your car that's been rolled over to having to Dodge bullets!! Both the Campaign mode and challenge mode are exciting and outstanding! I definitely recommend this game to anyone not just racing game people!

The weakest Need for Speed I have ever played - but okay at best, mediocre at worst.
The Run was complicated. I was expecting a NFS game where I would do the usual like in past games of the series. Just as soon as I started playing it, I was in a long road trip speeding through a trail that would lead me to NYC (one of my favorite cities and states ever). This NFS - in terms of music and sound volume - is very loud than previous games. While playing it, it's like watching a movie in a movie theater but actually playing it. The game itself comes off like a high-adrenaline action movie and it ends like a high-adrenaline action movie. The Run can be tough in some areas though. There were some races that were linear for me to beat. Like I just said It is very different from previous entries. It's good but it wasn't really all that great. This felt like I was playing a Fast and the Furious game than a Need for Speed one. It barely acts and sound like it. Heck, it's like EA just blended elements of Forza Motorsport - if that Xbox exclusive racing franchise actually HAD storylines - and The Fast and the Furious movies into this. Steering controls is very weak. I say it is weaker here than in let's say Need for Speed Undercover. The only good thing about this game for characters would have to be the game's casting of Christina Hendricks (ala Mad Men) as the game's lead female character (Sam Harper) supporting Jack [Rouke] (the main protagonist you are playing throughout these lethal races) on his journey to race around the country of the USA from the sunset strip of San Francisco, California to the bleak, wet, loud, metropolitan streets of N.Y.C. Speaking of Hendricks, I would never really think she would ever appear in a Need for Speed game. Over the years that I ever played a NFS game where some of the most recognizable actresses/models that I've glared my eyes at (like Brooke Burke in NFSUG2, Emmanuelle Vaugier in Carbon or Maggie Q in Undercover) that I would ever expect Christina Hendricks being a character in these games. Kudos to EA/Black Box for casting her to play such a supporting character. Also 2 models of Sports Illustrated fame are in this too but they wasn't featured much often. The soundtrack on the other hand, I am not a big fan of. Sure Brian Tyler is a great composer and all but I never really was a big fan of this soundtrack for this game that much. Sure it's action packed and it has the feel of adrenaline but it's meh to me. In conclusion, The Run is perhaps the weakest out of all Need for Speed games. It's barely worth playing. I just wished before I played it that the game would be like past games but then I realized it was an entirely different game. This is perhaps the most divisive game in the series. I can tell you this, there is some good DLCs and an okay graphics engine. If you are a long-time fan of the series you are going to be in for a very disappointing ride to NYC.

Cheating game title
This is a normal edition not a limited edition. Very bad way to lure the customers by giving wrong title.
