Seville Classics Laundry Hamper Sorter Cart Mobile Premium 3-Bag Heavy-Duty, Chrome

This thing is FANTASTIC!!!. I hesitate to write such a glowing review for a laundry hamper, but this is truly how we feel about this product. The product arrived very well packaged and was beyond super simple to assemble. It came with the small wrench and allen key needed to assemble. I think total, it was 8 allen bolts plus the four wheels that had to be assembled and that was it. I assembled it alone in roughly five minutes. Here's what we really like: This thing is rock solid. It's all metal and a great design. It does not lean or sway, even when fully loaded. The bags are really heavy duty and thick. Each bag has two heavy duty metal hangers and each bag lifts out by itself. The biggest bonus is there is a metal rack on the bottom to support the weight of the bags as they fill up. I imagine this will add alot of longevity to the life of the bags as the seams are not constrantly straining under the weight of clothes. The wheels would be a nice bonus if we planned to move it. But we don't. This is upstairs on carpet and our laundry is downstairs. Even though it's very sturdy, it is super light. I read the reviews of this and other items ahead of time. One thing people may not think about are the crossbars where the bags hang are all one piece. I read about another one where the bars were separate pieces. I can see how that would have been a problem. The second thing I already mentioned is the rack on the bottom to support the weight of the bags. As far as sturdiness, the only thing I can say is either someone h=got a bad unit, or they didn't put it together properly (tight enough). Ours is VERY sturdy. The only complaint I have and it's not even with this unit is we ultimately decided we wanted four bags. I was beyond pleased to see the manufacturer sells extra bags for $6 including the metal hangers so we ordered a 4th bag.

This unit allows my kids (7, 5 and 3) to sort their own clothes as they remove them so I don't have to spend so much extra time sorting it all before I wash. I taped little signs with words/pictures on what articles of clothing go in each section so they don't get confused. So far, a month-plus into it and this is working amazingly well! The unit is sturdy and the canvas bags are thick and durable. The plastic coating on the hooks prevent slipping of the bags and the handles make it incredibly easy to simply take out one bag, bring it to the laundry to start, then bring the empty bag back. I no longer have to hunt for extra laundry baskets just to take the dirty clothes to the machine. This was also quite easy to set up. I taped the little wrench that came with it to a bottom bar in case any screws go loose I'll have the proper tool handy. It has clean lines and a neat look to it overall. My only (minor) complaint is that the locking mechanism is not that great. Only the two back wheels lock so it tends to shift and slide along the wall. Not a huge deal, but just something that happens as they bump against it or shove clothes in it. **EDIT** I have now had this product for 1 full year and updated the stars from four to five. The wheel locks are not nearly as large an issue as I thought they would be. The canvas fabric is very durable and I have tossed the bags in the wash occasionally (kids clothes get really stinky) and there have been no issues with seams coming apart. Really a very well made, highly functional product.

I am very cautious and research the daylights out of a new purchase before plunking down a fistful of dollars. The quality of this product is refreshing and I know it will last a lifetime. This sits in our closet under an unused portion of our chrome closet clothes bar. It arrived sturdily packaged and everything you need to put it together is in the package. It was up and in use in 15 minutes. It comes with the necessary screws and bolts and the special tightening tool they need. The manufacturer Seville Classics also provided a website to go to if replacement canvas bags are needed for this unit. They are only $5.99 for just the bag, not including the chrome hanger hooks. The four heavy chrome cross bars securely screw into the two ends which also are a heavy chrome. There is a sturdy chrome wire grid that snaps over the bottom crossbars to help support the weight of the bags when filled with dirty clothes. The heavy duty wheels screw securely into the end frames and they have a push down lock if you need to keep it from rolling around. In my closet it's against walls and doesn't move so I haven't needed that yet. The hanging bags are the heaviest canvas I have ever seen and the quality is top notch. Nothing cheap looking about these. The hanging bars just slip through a couple of wide hanging loops on the bag if you need to remove to wash the bag. The bag hooks securely fasten over the top cross bars and hang freely. When you need to do laundry, either roll the entire cart into the laundry room, or just lift and carry a bag or two. They are amazingly lightweight even when loaded full. Easier than bumping through doors with a laundry basket. Then, after filling the washing machine, the bag just collapses and lays on the countertop until I need it to carry clean folded clothes or towels back to where they belong. There is also a different style with a hanging bar that can collapse down when not needed, but it would not fit under our clothes bar in the closet when not in use so I chose this one without the hanging bar.

Update: I changed my rating to 4 stars from 5, because after only a couple of months of owning this item, one of the bags ripped (right near the bias tape) at the seams even though I have been very gentle in my use of the bags and didn't put a lot of clothes in at once. Other than that, I have no other complaints. I just wish the company made the bags sturdier, then it would be perfect. --------- The item arrived only a few days after I placed the order. My husband is not really a handy man and he doesn't really like to assemble things, but even he assembled it in like 15 minutes. (We couldn't find the tiny wrench that was included--we found it after we finished assembling, of course--so my husband just screwed the wheels on with his hands and it was fine.) It's now in my laundry room already being used. My laundry room is pretty small and I had to put my laundry basket/bag in front of some drawers. A friend recommended getting a laundry sorter with wheels so I can move it easily when I have to open the drawers or open a door that's nearby. This seems perfect for my small laundry room, and I can organize our laundry into whites, colors, and baby clothes. Initially, I was looking at the Honey-Can-Do SRT-01235 Heavy-Duty Triple Laundry Sorter since it was like the first item that appeared when I searched for a laundry sorter on Amazon, and many people seem to have purchased it. However after reading the reviews, it sounded like the bags were quite flimsy. So at the last minute before placing the order, I switched to this Seville brand. I don't know what the Honey-Can-Do one is really like because I haven't seen it myself, but I'm happy with the sturdy canvas bags I got with my Seville brand. I also like the bottom support for the bags to sit on. ('though we had a bit of hard time trying to make it sit squarely & evenly on the bottom bars. It's still not quite even, but it looks alright so I'm not going to let it bother me.) The wheels move smoothly and seem sturdy. I've only had this item for a couple of days now so I don't know how sturdy it'll be or how long it'll last and how I'll feel about it in the long run, but so far, I like it and I'm glad I chose this laundry sorter for my laundry room.

I had a hard time deciding which laundry sorter to get, but I'm so glad I went with this one. I've had it for 3 months now. I love the metal grid under the bags- it easily supports the weight of the bags when they are full. I have a 4.3 cu ft washing machine, and a bag full to the frames' handles on the side (so overly full bag) makes a full load. You can fit a lot in the bags. It is easy to assemble, just be sure to check the pictures on the instructions. There aren't many written instructions. It's mostly self-explanatory. It wasn't hard, though. It was better to have someone holding parts of the frame together while I bolted them in, but for a lot of it I could easily do it without any assistance. The bags are machine washable; just slip the handles out through the loops. With the black ends of the bag handles, it measures 20" wide. I would allow 32" in the length to be safe, but you could get away with 31 1/4" if it's squeezed in the space, and it measures 32 1/4" tall. The frame is strong and sturdy with good metal casters that can lock and that roll easily on my vinyl floor. The bags are made of a strong canvas. All together, it is very well made and holds up well.

I have another laundry basket. It is much cheaper, but it has a tendency to fall apart if I lift it up, or even if I push it quickly. When my wife asked me to buy this from Amazon, I was a little taken aback by the price. But after putting it together, I'm impressed with the build. The wheels are screwed in, then tightened with a wrench (supplied). The wheels can be locked if necessary. The 4 long rods holding the two end frames are attached by fairly long and big bolts. There's a piece of plastic between the rod and the end frame so that there's no metal against metal rubbing. The bolts are tightened by an allen key (supplied). Even the arms holding the cloth bags are thick and sturdy. They won't bend easily, not unless your laundry includes chain mail. The bags are made of fairly thick canvas. Fixing it together is straightforward. The instructions is only a page long, but should be more than sufficient. Attach the parts loosely using just fingers, then use the tools to tighten it. After assembly, it is very sturdy and there's no wobble. The one part that's not screwed in is the mesh base - it clips into place with a satisfactory "click". I don't know if it will come loose at a later date, but if it does, I'll zip tie it in place. The only concern I have is if the shiny surface will rust after some time. If it does, I'll update this review. For now, I'm very impressed with this expensive but very sturdy laundry sorter.

I had been looking for a laundry hamper with divided sections for a while. I wanted one that would let me easily remove each "load's" worth of laundry to take to the washer without having to disrupt the rest of the dirty laundry. This fit the bill perfectly! Each hamper bag is made of a sturdy canvas material and is a good one load size. For approximate sizing comparison, we have a larger model top load HE Samsung washer and clothing packed into one of these bags filled to the top makes a pretty good sized load for washing. Pros: - Sturdy canvas material for the bags. It's durable and should last a good while. We've had this for over 4 months now with heavy use and the bags have held up well being dragged up and down three flights of stairs. - Handles are a good size and they make it easy to lift the bags out of the frame and and for carrying. - Large hooks on the sides of the bags ensure that they grip the side rails of the hamper frame. - Not too small and not too big. - Wire grate bottom provides extra support for the bags when they are filled and waiting to be taken to the washer, ensuring that they don't sag (which would put extra strain on the seams). - Easy assembly Cons - If you have a really plush carpet, the smaller wheels probably won't work well on it when the frame is weighed down by heavy laundry. We have fairly firm carpet though and these wheels do fine on it even when there's a good bit of laundry in the bags. - Not really a negative but I almost wish there was a fourth compartment.

I did lots of research on these laundry sorter baskets because it's obviously going to be used EVERYDAY...so glad I went with this one!! Others either had cheap material for the bags (this has heavy duty canvas), no shelf underneath the bags to help with the weight of them (if you can't tell in the picture, this one does) or cheap/lightweight metal for the frame (this is great quality IMO). I also like that the hooks that hold the bags to the frame have a thick rubber coating, helps to preserve the bar they're resting on. This buy has saved me sooo much time when I do laundry...I used to DREAD the sorting of all of our clothes...it took FOREVER b/c I'd have to look at every shirt of my kids' (and husband's ha ha) to find the ones that needed to be pre-treated. (I tried making a separate pile for pre-treated clothes but they would always get mixed up with the rest anyway b/c the fam would forget why there were different piles). I bought 2 of these so I'd have a bag for every pile, and I just check the kids' clothes before dropping them in, the ones that need to be pre-treated I hang on the side of the bar in front of that bag. Then I just take the bag to laundry room and do my 'dirty-work'! ; ) Each bag also holds quite a bit of clothing. We're a family of 4 and if I don't have time to do laundry 1 weekend, it can hold 2 weeks worth of (sorted) dirty clothes in each bag!! So if you're on the fence and having trouble deciding between some of these, cuz there's a lot to choose from, I would hands down choose this one! It may be priced a bit higher than some of the other brands, but in this instance, you DEFINITELY get what you pay for, AND MORE. I will probably never have to replace this thing! Re-tighten some screws, maybe, but that's way better than buying a whole other 'cheap' set! Seville, I think, is a great brand! I also have a kitchen trashcan by them...love it too!

So after careful and after a long search I decided on this multi laundry basket. Despite the reviews. Previous reviews mention that it came stained or rusted so I was nervous. Mine too came rusted on the edges of the metal which you’ll never see. No idea why. Most concerning is one of the baskets had a small stain inside. But I’ll probably not see that either. I’m most happy with how well I moves around and storage.

This unit was easy to assemble ( 1 size only for bolts , intuitive tubing, and easy to follow instructions) I was impressed with the quality of the wheels and rigidness of the tubing. This feels closer to what I would consider commercial grade once assembled hence the higher price compared to lower priced units. I feel the price is definitely fair. The canvas bags are an adequate thickness, time will tell whether the stitching at stress points will hold, I would have liked to see a double stitch on the canvas loops that suspend the bags on the frame, but I’m probably just being picky, time and use of the product will tell. Keep the Allen key and wheel wrench handy, I suspect the joints with the plastic spacers will need some initial re-tightening if you plan to wheel it around. One final observation, the unit does have a presence, frame stands close to 3 feet tall and you’ll need at least 20 inches depth to allow for the bag frames.
