Yes, although this kind of screen is light, but if you hang a lot, you need a stronger hook

Would this work if i used this in front of mirror for added privacy?

Maybe!!! If you're adding in front of the mirror but the spaces in the design are big enough that if there wasnt a solid piece behind it, everything would still be visable. Hope that helped with your question!

This is great but it should be cheaper because it really does not cost much to manufacture it.

This is a great idea and super cute . Its not a bad product by all means but I'm sure they have to be making bank on this. Because its like hard plastic sheet that were cut out with a print. And even with the hardware they're making bank. Dont let that stop n you from getting it though. I don't regret it. And assembling it is easy but tedious for some reason.
