This is a crafty idea, but good old-fashioned ball markers can't be beat. Choose your color logically; I picked orange and it was difficult for me and my playing partner to find it on putting greens, so I can't understand why anyone would buy this in green or blue, unless it's only going to be used for a hat clip. The magnet is fairly strong, but the clip isn't. I had to squeeze it a bit tighter to keep it in place on my cap. Quality golf balls have an alignment stripe or mark which are naturally designed to help line up your putt. This marker is more of a novelty & conversation piece than a putting improvement tool. I'll stick with traditional, easy-to-see ball markers.

I love this ball marker. So much so that I have replaced it three times now. My recommendation is to leave the magnet base in your golf bag and put the marker in your pocket. I have had the magnet carrier fall off my belt, my hat and my golf bag.

Prefect and easy alignment that gives a better ball line towards the cup that has improved my putting.

Nice alignment tool, but a bit to large and thick.

This marker works well, though the clip is heavier than expected. The marker and clip together probably weigh as much as 3 quarters. The clip is a bit loose for my hat, too.

It is heavy. Haven't had a chance to use it yet. I hope it isn't too heavy for my hat.

I ordered the magnetic clip, and it is difficult to get the marker back in a suitable position on the magnetic clip

Clip is a little weak but still works great.
