I see in the pic it holds three fries, is that the max or can it hold more fries?

Mine will hold an order of large fries from Sonic with room for two tacos, ketchup & hot sauce and napkins in my 2010 Tacoma. The ad specifically says "what's in your crack?". And that's just on the driver's side. My wife (who I affectionately call "the nagivator") is considerably more messy than I am can fit the entire contents of the overflow from that black hole she calls a "purse". Amazing product.

Are the drop stops washable?

Just wiped mine down with a cloth. Amazing. I have had this since i bought a new car 2 years ago and it is hands down THE best invention. I don’t lose my cell , my lipstick , etc etc. LOVE it. May seem cheesy at first , but becomes part of the car and it’s phenomenal! I TELL people about it. No one ever even noticed it !☺️

WILL IT FIT LEXUS RX350 SUV

Fits snug in my 2018 Lexus RX350, I’ve moved it forward and don’t wrap through the seatbelt because it’s so snug I worry that seatbelt may be difficult to open quickly in an emergency. Still great and keeps things from falling out. Also good because it’s soft if your hips spill over that way

How will the slide-free mat fare in direct sunlight (i.e. High temperature) scenarios? Will it leave a stick residue or melt?

Best product ever! I have had mine for well over a year and I have had no problems at all. Mine are in a SUV, not a convertible, so there is no direct sunlight.
